Ramapuram Tiger by Kenneth Anderson | Audio Story | Man-Eaters and Jungle Killers

Following a horrendous injury at the hands of the local peasantry, a cattle-lifting tiger turns into a man-eater in and around the village of Ramapura(m). One of the most legendary of Kenneth Anderson's stories, the tale of the Ramapuram Tiger is set in the picturesque north Coimbatore district of Southern India flanked by towering hills on all sides with expansive lush green valleys teeming with wildlife.

Thanks for another fantastic narration. A quick search reveals that this story is used as part of the curriculum for 6th grade children in some chools of India. I think more of Corbett's and Anderson's stories should be used. The kids will learn better English while learning to appreciate the natural world around them.

Sheer brilliance. 👍 This channel is the very definition of quality over quantity. Our host Mr A P Singh is blessed with a voice of the ages, from heaven in my humble opinion. He brings to life these wonderful stories like no other. I have absolutely nothing against a, say, American accent, but this man's dulcet tones and story telling abilities are like no other. And his accent is perfect. I am truly blessed. Thank you and best wishes for Oxford UK.

When creeping up from the hole slowly, to his horror, he saw there were two tigers!!!! Another when he found himself right in between two mating tiger couple!!! Horror of horrors!!!!
