You didn’t mention the power increase…was it noticeable? Did you feel the 28 HP increase?

Tyler could you feel and hear the difference in power? Raising Hell Red with a 30% increase in flow and 25 HP and TQ.

Any reason why you chose the AFE over the S&B intake? Seems the S&B is the go to intake on the TRX.

I was worried about all the red at first but looks like it turned out nice

I agree it looks pretty good in the engine bay I wish the real red color would have shown better on camera but for some reason it looks orangeish.

@18:44 does that passenger winshield wiper have a ram head on it???

Does anyone here knows if this will affect or void the warranty on the truck ?

the factory breather hose can be removed by holding pliers on the actual hose end easily 👍

All of the vent hoses I have seen so far on them are hard formed nylon line onto the valve. Thanks for the view!

How loud is this compared to S&B’s? I had the intake from Cornerstone but with my daughter having sensitivity to loud noises it was too loud for her. Right now up between S&B and AFE. Thanks for the great video!

I have not personally got to drive a truck with the S&B intake but this one is pretty quiet vs. the JMB open filter intake that I installed a while ago. Thanks for the view!

How much do you have to remote to replace the filters? How long is typical filter life?

I think you would need to pull off both of the side tubes to get to the filters. I have been checking stock TRX's at 30k for air filters and they really aren't bad yet.

Yes, I didn't show it for some reason but you reuse the rubber drain part off of the factory intake so it works just like stock. Thanks for the view!
