Agree. Two wrongs don’t make a right. But the amount of chaos those few months of the Uddhav govt brought to Maharashtra was just incomprehensible. The monk’s deaths in Palghar, the irresponsible handling of the Sushant Singh and Disha Salian case, reports of extortion by police personnel in Mumbai, the looose handling of Arnab’s case, The chief cop of Mumbai Parambir Singh’s involvement in all this and all this only on the law and order side are a few instances why Uddhav and team are absolutely incompetent. This added to the massive losses for the Metro project, the handling of COVID in Mumbai and so many more. The list is very long. However I also believe that there are still loyalists of the Sena who regard Bala Saheb and have carried their allegiance forward to his son. That may be a reason why some votes may still swing to Uddhav’s faction of the Sena.

Even if every Hindu doesn’t voice it, Ram Mandir is a big deal in their heart of hearts.

People are not stupid, despite the attempts by journos to gaslight. Ram mandhir was a political victory, however one cuts it. BJP very well deserves to brag about it and ask for votes based on the consecration. SC verdict was only a formality to give that final nudge.

2019 was a Pulwama election. Only to the extent that it justified the faith people had in Modi. If Pulwama had not happened. Modi would still have won. It’s hilarious to hear such a conversation. Barring the opposition die hard fan bois, absolutely no one is voting against NDA. And there’s hardly any lower turnout, considering 2014 and then 2019 were an exceptional upsurge elections. This time’s turnout so far in first two phases was only 3-4% down but still above 2014 and much much above 2009. And the third phase has matched 2019 level. There is no lower turnout, especially among NDA voters. Ward wise data in UP indicates much lower turnout in muslim dominated wards compared to areas where NDA’s traditional voters live. Faaltu ki hawa banayi ja rahi hai Congress ke liye. 30 se bhi kam seats winnable hain Congress ke liye in the whole of India.

A lower turnout means people are okay with status quo and should be beneficial for the incumbent. Why don't these journalists show data (either for India or other democracies) where a lower turnout has meant a change in govt.? It's always the opposite, where people turnout in higher numbers if the sentiment is to change the govt.

@@yourbikash This isn’t exactly true. 2019 had a higher turnout than 2014 and BJP won bigger. A higher turnout doesn’t always mean it is for “change”. Yes, but a lower turnout almost always indicate status quo.

There need not be any Modi Wave. Very little anti incumbency visible on the ground. Modi looks well set for a 3rd term in office.

As Bhakra will not debate on this. India is the only country where majority population meaning Hindus are declining among all South Asian nations. Pakistan and Bangladesh minorities like Hindus are wipe out and majority meaning Muslims are increasing. Hindus wake up, every decade 1% decline is happening. Just don't sit behind facade of intellectualism. India also has bigger problem of illegal Muslims migrations like Bangladeshis ,Rohingyas..and also conversions.

Don't know if Ram Mandir is Pulwama or not, but even Pulwama was not Pulwama until the election results. But where do you find such 'intellectuals' who think resolving a 500-yr old issue, one of the major challenges of independent India which had lead to hundreds of riots and thousands of deaths, and resolving it without any bloodshed or riot is not a big deal?

whether we agree or not, 400paar slogan is conveniently converted to reservation removal in phase 1 by congress. They even made a deep fake video fo Amit Shah and the reason for all the arrests is because of rahul team did manipulate voters in phase 1. So is the attack in phase 2 by Modi. The impact is certainly seen in phase 1 and phase 2 and softened in phase 3.
