I met Mr. Ralph after a concert in San Antonio about ten years ago!! He was down to earth, polite and genuine. He talked to my boys and I for about an hour. Bobby did the same!! They could care less about their fame, they were happy to just be normal that day.

No the New Kids didn't . When them Repackaged Kids first came out they were dissing New Edition ( hard), especially Donnie. You can lie to the young people, but you can't lie to the people lived in that era. New Edition was the group that ALWAYS took the high road and played nice cause they didn't want to lose white fans. New Kids, on the other hand didn't really care about losing black fans cause their audience was mainly teenage white girls. I remember Donnie said in a interview that the only thing that they have in common with New Edition is that they're from Boston. Really? They were copy cats in every way. Listen to New Editions " Is this the End" and then listen to New Kids " Please don't Go"( which got major air play on black radio) and tell me they don't sound damn near identical . The two groups are cool now, but back in the day, not at all. NE4LIFE. People come People go In this business You will never never know Some are good Some are bad You know we've got what no one's ever had.... [first verse of BBD's song] Word to the Motha(ft. Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, and Bobby Brown)., Facts!!

Bc by then the industry cracked the code of building in black ppl then multiplying it with YT ppl. Same thing with tv stations, they launch a fire black sitcom with strong black leads and writers with free rain then when the ratings pick up , they can the show whenever and however to make room for some watered down mediocre version that yt ppl happen to gobble up by the masses. Sadly nothing new, then yt folks up at the top had a nasty game plan and still do, knowing that there are FAR more hungry and more talented black ppl out there who will gladly take the penny on a dollar bc it’s way more than they probably would ever see in life without these “deals”

Not to mention the wealth gap and the Caucasians support their White Artists as well African Americans artist more than any other ethnic group when it comes to buying CDS and going to Concerts.
