Pierre, we should be catching on to you faster. Even when I think I wouldn’t be interested in a guest I’ve been intrigued. Keep doing what you’re doing and I’m proud to say you’re a DMV guy doing it big once again!✊🏾
Love hearing him say that the New Kids on the Block are his family
New Kids On the Block ALWAYS acknowledges and tours with New Edition to this day.
Ralph is a true legend since day 1.
I met Mr. Ralph after a concert in San Antonio about ten years ago!! He was down to earth, polite and genuine. He talked to my boys and I for about an hour. Bobby did the same!! They could care less about their fame, they were happy to just be normal that day.

One of the main reasons I love them. They are just regular, down to earth guys. They always show love to their fans.

Well, their prime was in the mid 80's - early 90's so any ego has probably washed away by now.
NKOTB has always paid homage to NE, especially Donny. I like New Kids, but I love New Edition.

No the New Kids didn't . When them Repackaged Kids first came out they were dissing New Edition ( hard), especially Donnie. You can lie to the young people, but you can't lie to the people lived in that era. New Edition was the group that ALWAYS took the high road and played nice cause they didn't want to lose white fans. New Kids, on the other hand didn't really care about losing black fans cause their audience was mainly teenage white girls. I remember Donnie said in a interview that the only thing that they have in common with New Edition is that they're from Boston. Really? They were copy cats in every way. Listen to New Editions " Is this the End" and then listen to New Kids " Please don't Go"( which got major air play on black radio) and tell me they don't sound damn near identical . The two groups are cool now, but back in the day, not at all. NE4LIFE. People come People go In this business You will never never know Some are good Some are bad You know we've got what no one's ever had.... [first verse of BBD's song] Word to the Motha(ft. Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, and Bobby Brown)., Facts!!

I think u just described Mr. Tresvant’s personality. The thing is the stuff they’re talking bout was so long ago, he’s over it. He’s moved on and the group is finally making their money on the road.
New Edition will always be my top group when I first heard them! But you can’t front,New Kids on the Block got some hits and have really worked hard to get where they are and always paid homage to New Edition and on top of that, those 2 groups always have respected each other…And for both groups come from different hoods, they both turned out amazing 🙌🏾…Thank you New Edition and New Kids🙏🏾
Ralph Tresvant is the truth! I can't wait for the full interview!
❤good clip Pierre...u got him to giggle a little😊. I never got into the impersonators...IM A NE FOR LIFER!!! Ralph is one of our treasures...❤
Loved NE from the start... But when they came out with the Heart Break album, THAT WAS IT!!!❤❤❤ OMG 🥰
It's like Pierre scoffed at The Jets . Jets had a few bangers and were a staple on the 80's music scene .
Damn I wish my boy Tony "Lil Tony" Thompson was still here, RiH King
🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵New Edition always winning..
Look, NE and NKOTB are cool with each other now, so Ralph ain’t about to say all that. 😂😂
I can listen to Ralph talk all dang day. 😍
Al Hymon is a Legend!
New Edition will forever be legends in the music industry for all the music that was written for them as a group or solo projects and their music has the test of time. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
Shout out to the Silvers and to 5 Star. NE is still winning though.
Maurice Starr was a genius - and he made it look easy
New Edition was signed to Jump and Shoot, who had a deal with MCA. The Jets were signed to Don Powell, who had a deal with MCA. There's a pattern here.

They are talking about the black white thing..but the difference is the Jackson five were marketed and promoted waaaay more than new edition . And new kids were marketed and promoted better than new edition why wasn't new edition when they first hit?

Bc by then the industry cracked the code of building in black ppl then multiplying it with YT ppl. Same thing with tv stations, they launch a fire black sitcom with strong black leads and writers with free rain then when the ratings pick up , they can the show whenever and however to make room for some watered down mediocre version that yt ppl happen to gobble up by the masses. Sadly nothing new, then yt folks up at the top had a nasty game plan and still do, knowing that there are FAR more hungry and more talented black ppl out there who will gladly take the penny on a dollar bc it’s way more than they probably would ever see in life without these “deals”

He was telling the truth because it is the truth. It's 75% of Caucasians in America alone. With African American it's 14%. Not to mention the wealth gap and the Caucasians support their White Artists as well African Americans artist more than any other ethnic group when it comes to buying CDS and going to Concerts. When artist like Michael Jackson and Prince etc. By the numbers at their concerts it was Mostly Whites/Caucasians in attendance.
