It may be blasphemy to say, but I think Sammy has more of a Stanley sound than Keith.

Amen...an there was some songs in my opinion he did better than Carter but either way Roy an Carter was good enough for me

Ol Sammy doesn't flinch when the chorus starts with Jack and Ralph in each ear. He just keeps right on a plowing.

I'm playing a festival this summer and I close the show Fri and Sat, RIGHT AFTER Sammy Adkins with two other Clinch Mountain Boys. I'm not sweating it yet, no not at all, punt. Our band Had a Stanley style sound.

In 1975, this music saved me from rock and roll.

This is a beautiful song.and this such great talent.
