When you replaced the alternator, you could have upgraded to 130 amp one from an Explorer for the same price. This would have been MUCH better, especially since you installed an electric fan😀👍

Don’t think it had a specific brand, you just have to look them up on eBay you can get them really cheap

What size belt did you replace the old me with, when you pulled the fan pulley?

It’s been awhile since then, but I believe we just left the old one on and just took the fan off.

The “fan pulley” is the water pump pulley my dude, you need to keep the water pump pulley in. You take the fan out and put the bolts back in the pulley

@@invisible.spectra5809 yes that is true I asked about the belt size because there is an option to buy a kit when the fan is deleted, so I was unsure if I were to opt into buying the fan delete kit Thanks for the alternative to the kit tho

Diagnostics are worth a lot of money, cause when ya can't diagnose a problem you end up spending a butt load of money!

You don't gain HP with an electric fan. You just lose less than a mech fan. Electric or mech both steal HP from the motor so with either you are losing HP not gaining.

You do gain power if the stock fan is ran off the belt bc if it’s off the belt it has resistance
