Quite interesting to see how suspension progressed during years. At older cars you can see them bouncing when they land, newer cars just stick to road like mad.

And aerodynamics too! Older cars seem to hit front end to ground first and newer cars fly and land to all four wheels.

The biggest difference I see is between 2000 cars, which almost behave like modern cars, and 1998 cars, which are the first in the video to have a pronounced bounce. I wonder what changed between those years

Do they have some sort of active suspension? Stiffness is dynamically controlled maybe

It's probably the difference between Group A cars and World Rally cars. The former were still production based, while the latter are basically purpose built.

Been there for some of those years! Crazy stage!

Amazing. The modern WRC cars get so much more air and stay aloft for a full second longer than the cars of the 1990's. I'd love to see what the group B monsters could have done over this jump in their heyday.

And probably suspension durability too. I'm guessing the old cars slowed down a lot more to avoid destroying everything they have.

Around the 90's the people was so crazy to stand near the cars. This is the difference between people from the north and those from the south: for the latter, the excitement at its peak, always so near to the event!! It was a miracle and the virtuosity of the pilots so that there were no serious accidents or very few.

This is very random, but I was just playing EA WRC at this location and noticed hundreds of boulders dotted randomly on either side of the road. Most of them probably weigh several hundred, if not thousands of tons and they're everywhere. The only reason I'm bringing it up is because they look suspiciously out of place, like, where the hell did they come from? Did Spongebob ride those babies for miles?

Why you don’t leave the inside camera for the full jump? Or just pick a camera angle and stick to it, instead of always showing the manding the same way. You drink too much redbull it makes you cut too much

That’s crazy but not as crazy as letting a male take a Woman’s Skateboarding Trophy. Won’t be drinking Red Bull anymore

Yeah... That's right... Even a good control vehicle with professional drivers sometimes it just happens and it's very hard to control in those climatic conditions...... That's what those kind of races are meant for..... Sometimes one has to get loose to lose themselves to control those kind of wheels in those kind of climatic conditions.....

They need a rule that you can and have to run over idiots in the track and get points for killing them 👍

Man, the newer cars are such crap.

Instead of Fafe jump it should be called Fatal jump for cars……🤔😂 isn’t it amazing how some professional drivers can get it sooo wrong 😬 excellent video of now and then what has changed with the hill?? Cars back then not jumping as far as the cars now? Clearly just more power????

I think Professional drivers doesn't get it wrong.... It just happens.... While they drive for so long and at that kind of speed..... I think one who drives they will know its a fafe jump? or fatal jump! ....

When there is no God above the state, the state becomes god (By definition, an idol, a false god)-the highest authority in the lives of those governed. And if there is no God, everything is permitted.

It's crazy how redbull is so better than wrc
