Ralf pockets the 9, walk calmly over to Jeremy and shakes his hand. Still calm he walks away over to his chair, THEN he celebrates. I which the players of today could show this decency.

Jeremy is from the town next to mine, Baytown Texas. Use to see him at local pool halls all the time. He was always good but no one could predict how good he'd become

Watched him play at Rack 'um and played 9 ball tournaments against him, he was lights out even in his younger days. When he entered you just went through the motions and hoped there was enough for a losers bracket, so you had a shot a 2nd place.

Shit… 1997-98 was his prime.. I watched the guy beat a guy 27 games in a row playing one pocket, and when we got back to the hotel room I asked him why he didn’t let the guy win a game?.. He told me sometimes they won’t quit until they win a game..

Someone posted the all time W/L records for everyone who’s played in the event.. I wanna say JJ was 17-17, or maybe 17-18.. Something close to that..
