Well, looks like I'm dedicated to spread Izmo's "gospel" to non-Finnish speaker friends.
This was a real toughie. I mean, it is both alliterative and rhymed. That ain't nothing. But the very idea of the song is that our word for love (rakkaus) is rather ugly even to us. With those Finnish sharp R's, double K's and hissing S's.
So I decided to leave that word alone as is. Just replace it with "love" to understand.
And look at the guy's pupils. I know light grey eyed people always look a bit weird and staring, bu I'll be damned if he ain't high as a kite. Nigh stoned. Rascal :)
