To run the car, I need to buy petrol which is taxed at 50% (outside of GST) 4. Still to drive down to rishikesh, I pay INR 3000 toll to use the road WTF !

If you have less than 60k salary, you pay 0 IT tax, but still pay 35k-40k as indirect taxes. But if your salary is 80+ then you pay 75% of your salary as direct and indirect taxes. This country has one of the highest taxes and lowest return on taxes. The police is not for people, it's for the service of VVIPs, hospitals are crap, judiciary is a joke, bureaucracy is even worse. Yet none of us ask government about it, if you do , our families will be harrased, there is a systematic autocraticism of India is going on and no one is saying anything.

Wrong why consumer payment 28%?

Government should atleast reduce tax on products based on indigenicity of products. For eg. If the product is 100% indian then reduce by x% and tax increase as per the import percentage of the product (if the product isn't available in india yet / can't be manufactured then tax must sit between or slightly lower than full import tax ) . This helps the local for vocal.

This man, Rajiv has given us a lot of fine bikes in budget. We own a lot to him. I purchased Bajaj Discover 125 back in 2018. It is wonderful bike having power and good mileage both. I would never have got to use such a great product without this man.

There is only 3% tax base for Direct taxes which is almost minimum in whole world..a country in which 80 Crore people are supposed to be provided monthly basis to feed. Defence is another headache as we are on 2.5 front war like situation every time. Only source of income for India is this tax .Now decide what should be done or what should be the right strategy ..

I don't think he doesn't know the truth. The commodities requiring govt approval or govt control are taxed highest, as there's no threat of smuggling. That's why there are many duties and taxes on Vehicles, fuel, Stock shares and likes. On other commodities, there's possibility of smuggling as there's no account of consumption.
