Raji Nomads' Dangerous Honey Gathering | SLICE | FULL DOCUMENTARY
At the foothills of the Himalaya, along the border separating India and Nepal, Raji nomads still hunt for wild honey.
They scale the trees of the great Terai forest, risking their lives to harvest the honey of the apis laboriosa - the largest migratory bee in the world. Both slave and master of the bees, Bahadur defies the towering trees and braves death for the survival of his people.
After discovering written accounts of the Raji' way of life, photographer and filmmaker Eric Valli set out to discover what had become of these nomadic people.

My county is just STINK with Himalayan blackberry bushes. They are big & fat & juicy, but the vines and the thorns are vicious. Everytime I mow my lawn I bloody my forearms. Every roadside in our county has berry patches crowding the roadways. When ripe, you'll find lots of cars pulled over onto the shoulder picking blackberries. We all know when it is berry pickin time cuz all the deer & elk in our county will have purple lips. !

Why old documentaries.can't find new one or what.
Due to modernization, they are no more into this tradition of harvesting honey and fishing. They get compensation from Nepali government and living normal life as others.
