My son, who is now 14, has also been diagnosed with autism. I even forget about the diagnosis now, he is an A student, trophies left, right, and center. My hubby, who came into our lives when my son was only 3 and still struggling with communication, has been amazing. Big ups to those types of people who are able to give so much love beyond biological relations.

Hi Thobile, thank you. Your son will be ok too, just stay on track with whatever treatment the doctor suggests. For us it was occupational therapy and speech therapy. Getting him into a special school will also be very helpful. Keep well.

My son is diagnosed with ADHD, he is 11 years old. It has not been an easy journey but I thank God for choosing me to be his parent . Speech and occupational therapy really helps and definitely a school that will allow them to be who they are and cater for their needs 🙏🏽 😊

We have two kids living with Autism. 9yr old girl and 16yr old boy. They have brought so much joy into our lives. They've challenged us to our core but we wouldn't have it any other way.

My son was diagnosed with severe Autism (non-verbal) and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Your son's journey seems so similar to our son's. He also stopped walking at 9. Thank you for sharing your story. Having severe Autism and DMD is a difficult journey. I haven't come across anyone similar to our son's situation before watching this video so I appreciate you sharing.
