Ron DeSantis is actively packing the state courts with his picks. Jeb Bush altered Article V, section 11-12 of the Fla. Constitution of 1968, as amended to deprive the voters of their right to vote judges into office. The judicial candidates are selected by a judicial nominating committee controlled by the Florida Bar. But what Jeb Bush did with Chales Canady was to empower Chief Judges of Florida 20 Circuits to retain judicial officers in office. This enables the Chief Judges to assert political power on the local Bars to inhibit candidates therefore to pack the courts on a County and Circuit level. This is happening throughout the country because everyone attentions is diverted to Clarences stinking RV as the Crows flies!

Alito flying that flag, as much as it is contemptuous to the dictates of our democratic republic; engaged in protected speech. Judicial officers need to remain aloft, and detached to political and other influences that cause bias to the principals of precedent, Res Judicata. Alito has a right to his personal beliefs, whether we like it or not. This is but an indicator and is not prima facia for a Bill of impeachment.

I don't think this speech is protected for judges and justices. We get freedom of speech, not them. This why Merchan received a warning for his $35 donation. You are not supposed to be political in anyway when you are a judge (or even as a prosecutor). It's against the code of ethics.

Y'know, Ms. Maryann, I've been inextricably glued to the news (I mean, not at all just in the last little while, as I'm a news junkie) and I just now realized that you're are the exact opposite of the toxic media. Its a very necessary evil but it rarely brings one hope or peace- and that's my point here. If this had happened 15-20 years ago with any Justice of SCOTUS, they would have "retired" in shame. But, at least two justices are so deep, they really don't see what they've done! Years ago, even the appearance of impropriety would be enough for anyone to relinquish their positions. It's truly frightening what people are getting away with, others see as normal. I'm hoping there's no bloodshed when people are held accountable. 😢

I emailed the White House over the ICC business and said that while I am a supporter and donor to the president, I strongly disagree with his comments about the ICC plans. I realize the president will never see my email, but I have read that he is told what the public is writing about. I was so indignant about his calling the ICC action ‘outrageous’ that I felt a need to say something to someone. I am an Aries after all. 😉
