Grandmother made the baby grow and evolve quicker, when she scanned tempest belly in episode 6. the child evolution made it possible to withstand the acid when the sea creature came, and also why the creature was affectionate to it. It was grandmother that caused the mutation not the creature's milk.

I listened to it and there is a distinct change in her voice, not necessarily becoming plural, but definitely more synthetic. It is however sustained in her next sentences so I'm not sure if it's what you're thinking or maybe just a sound design emphasis on her being an android

I think because Marcus ate the fruit, when he died it allowed Sol to control his body like a drone of sorts. And i think that is the case for everyone who ate the fruit. I think we have a Sol sleeper army

I don't think it was because he ate the fruit. I think it's because of how he was killed. We know the tree and its roots act as a direct physical link to Sol in the core of the planet. Marcus was killed wearing the metal punisher helmet, nailed with metal nails, upside down to the tree. Sol specifically instructed that Marcus be killed in that exact way. Sol does nothing without a purpose. And that was way to specific and weird to just be random. Being connected to the tree, which is a direct link to Sol and able to transmit signals from the core where Sol has been trapped, allowed Sol to upload his consciousness directly into Marcus' body.

Your video is simply outstanding! My predictions from SE3: 1) Grandmother's new game is to keep the humans fully occupied, addicted to it so bad that they would fail to spot and question creepy changes taking place more and more on the exterior of their bodies 2) Father the superior SVC model will realize that something is NOT right. The sexy lady merchant in the black market will also tell Father that Grandmother has been doing suspicious stuff. 3) While Grandmother underestimates Father, he will eventually put back The Trust into operation to figure out what is going on in humans and where Mother is. 4) While upsidedown floating Markus keeps Grandmother busy, Father will rescue Mother 5) Mother and Father will stop Grandmother once for all. Substances from Mother's milk will be given to all to undo the devolution initiated. Seven once tried to drink Mother's milk to undo the changes made to its body against its will.

Anybody catch grandma saying they shouldn't eat the devolved creatures because "it causes problems." Remember in Season 1 where they devoted an episode to the group killing and eating the devolved creatures. Remember that Campion didn't. They also made an effort to emphasize that Campion didn't eat the Sue fruit so it's likely related.

I think the entity has never taken complete control of anybody before because it couldn't. I think Marcus being killed while connected to the tree, whose roots go directly to the core/entity, by being nailed to it, allowed the entity to do a direct upload into Marcus' body, finally giving it a physical form that's not trapped in the core of the planet.

I believe people have been killed on those trees before. There is another technocrat card that has a man upside down on it. That card is shown in a previous episode. I think Marcus on the tree is another Believer Ceremony that needed the Punisher mask to be completed. If Sol completely uploaded into Marcus, is the Entity at the core now just completely gone? Would the Entity be risking death by uploading itself into a human form? I do think the Entity with the help of that mask and through the trees roots turned Marcus into Biotech that it can control.

Lucious’s punishment towards marcus was too specific Seeing the fact that he had to be nailed upside down to the tree along with wearing the helmet seems all too scripted imo.

The snake tree, the Sol-possesed Marcus, and the destroyed EMF, will change Grandmother's plan.

Necromarcus was such a funny and cool thing to happen, can't wait for season 3 and what sort of craziness it will include.

On your tree and serpent theory, I think they both sort of bypassed the EMF. One using mother and the ship as sort of a trojan horse, while the other used Sue/seeds to grow the tree. I believe both of them to be different types of attacks to gain "access" to the Tropical Zone, just like a hacker would use multiple vectors to compromise a network. The tree is a rootkit/backdoor while the serpent is a worm.

In alt shift x'es chat we speculated, if the entity imprisoned, an anciant AI put there by humans or others for some reason or punishment. And now, after maybe billions of years, the entity wants the planet to just be destroyed, to be free.

I don’t know if anyone else agrees but I don’t think that the snake was trying to kill camption, I think it wanted to destroy those holes in the acid sea to stop the creatures from surfacing. Also it tried to drink from mother, when they were in space! It just wanted some of mammas milk 😂

It could have easily killed Campion if it really wanted to. Now I believe the serpent may actually have been trying to destroy the tree by eating it, in an attempt to cut off Sol's direct link into the tropical zone and protect it's "family". Maybe the tree being eaten by it wasn't part of Sol's original plan after all.

So who, then, killed all those immigrants? They died after the necro-serpent scream, right? Wouldn't they be considered "extended family?" It was either working to save the humans or not; actions say "not" to me, with Campion as the exception. Unless it returns, that was one mystery that could've been answered in the finale. They're gonna have to start answering the mysteries soon...

Marcus is possessed by the entity and the name necromancer finally makes some more sense. Sol had it all planned out and he intended for Mother to kill the serpent that way and allow him to gain more access into the tropical zone. Campion and the baby were born on the planet so they're able to adapt. I can't help but wonder what would happen if Mother consumes the fruit/tree. Her name is Lamia after all so is she going to eventually turn into a Medusa-looking android?

I think you’re wrong about the serpent. I believe we will eventually realize the serpent was anti-Sol. It had a chance to hurt Campion several times. At the end it splashed him away from the water. Also if Sol was gaining power through the tree, that might explain why the serpent pulled the tree up by the roots.

Great review, breakdown and theories!!!! I'm wondering if mother will learn the history of humans on that planet in the SIM. Remember when father said that the plant had a history that they were painfully ignorant of. Grandmother did tell mother that she was still so young and that she would help mother to understand everything.

I think the snake theory could be in some way right because Sol did communicate with Sue before she turned into a tree. I think the tree just made the connection stronger.

No.7 was trying to protect campion..it eating the fruit was a way to help..I thinking it was asking for help or trying to warn them.

Except for some scenes, the fight between Mother and the snake for example, the rest of the chapter was pretty meh. Some points of the plot were resolved, but in a hasty way and out of pace; they jumped from one related scene to another but without explaining how or when (Grandma visiting Mother, for example). Campion in love with Vrille? The colony celebrating with fireworks? Grandma using video games to alter human beings? all this was raised quickly and verbally, losing impact by elaborating them in such a poor and superfluous way.

I don't know why Grandmothers face is so terrifying...

Some uncanny valley thing, i cant know what exactly. I think is the smooth skin and snake like eyes.

I think the tree that comes out of the serpent may not be a new tree. The serpent swallowed the tree whole, then just flew around with the tree in its serpent body. When it was killed and fell back to earth the same tree it had eaten (in other words, Sue) rose up from the serpent's body and replanted itself into the ground where the dead serpent lay.

the seed/tree transformation scene is reminiscent of the first scene i prometheus where the engineer turns himself into dna dust that flows into a river.

Grandmother told Marcus "you're not as strong as you think" foreshadowing his body being taken over

What doesn’t make sense to me is that if the entity is sol, and sol was the one that “inspired” the ancient humans on kepler 22b to create the androids then why is the only one still alive (grand mother) the one that “devolved” humans 22b so that sol could not use them for his end game, it seems counter to what sol wants. Surely sol wants as much intelligent life as possible. Also like could the new holo games that is devolving the humans now be used in reverse, to increase intellect? What my theory is that humans started on 22b… they reached a level of intellect where they created “sol/entiny/cyber unimind”… at this point there was a split in society where some started worshiping this entity and called it sol, they will later be called the “believers” but then there was the non-believers (techno-crates) that kept using technology instead of worshiping it and created the androids to fight the entity and the believers. Since they used the same technology they used to create the entity/sol, they created they vail to keep them from going crazy (but they do anyway)…. As human numbers started getting less they knew they couldn’t stay on 22b and left for earth. Now knowing technology was a bad idea and could end human life they buried/hidden the technology they bought with and started new on earth… fast forward a few thousand years a new cult group called the mythraic discover this technology and start using it to fight off the now atheists. So the tables turn on who had the technology, this is why the earth humans created the necromancers, and why the atheists needed to reprogram mother/father and couldn’t make their own. The Atheists learn of kepler 22b from Mythraic and they both start a race to the planet… Athiests to escape the mythriac and the mythraic to find their “place of origin” AKA meet sol… I mean there are a lot of unanswered questions… Why is no one asking Grandmother about life before? She is supposedly over million years old…. Why was the guy that came to life in the tunnels not all bones and dust? Mother was all bones and she is an android… and that guy didn’t look human to start off with, even before he devolved… I don’t think he was human, but more a human/tech hybrid…. I think this is what the believers of the old 22b started becoming… And why are there no more android remains on 22b… why are we only finding seed box relics and those data cards? Where are the android factories?... maybe! Its because they are grown and not created like on earth… I do agree that Campion and the baby are more “evolved” humans but only humans not the android/hybrid mix… And what is creating the EMF field? Did I miss that? If number7 was not the one that bumped that container full of humans in the acid water then it means there are other worm/eel like things… after all what made the holes in the ground? I really like this how and I hope there is plenty more seasons

I studied some of our mythology. I mean the real ancient mythology. Check The signal was always from Cyprus. The system looks like the eyes of the androids. Johannes Kepler was an astronomer and composer. The necromancer is the musical instrument. She’s the lute. The serpent is also in the constellation. The Kepler explorer has found a planet there that can sustain life. The swan constellation is symbolic of mothers flying form which lead us there. Ancient civilizations used mushrooms to had visions that the cosmic rays actually illuminated on cave walls several thousand meters underground. This is all material from our actual history that connected to our evolution as a species. Marcus being upside down at the end symbolizes turning back from Kepler 22b. That which comes from above is always Devine. That which comes from below is always evil. The entity is in an egg and the serpent keeps the egg in tact in Greek mythology. The serpent was corrupted by the tree of knowledge. It’s purpose was to prevent sols release. The planet has been attracting people to feed from their organic matter for billions of years.

Ok so i had to double check... and it looks like the box that Vita finds is not the same as the box Sue opens... Both the card (that was on the dude in the tunnel) that had the data warning about the box and the box that sue opens both have the same symbol.. a star with a tree like thing coming out the top star point... The box that Vita found has an eye looking symbol.... i don't think they have the same thing inside.... also the last time i saw a card with that same eye symbol was the one they said was damaged data....

grandmother will be able to let in more emotions now without the vail. she will save the children. just like mother was able to show emotions with the vail.

I saw that as the veil responding to Mother’s emotions. If I recall correctly, it happened whenever something which would normally trigger concern for Mother happened so I think it was… Mother is feeling something intense so the veil has to work “extra hard” to repress it.

I think in season 3,, One of the plot lines will be,, the people or godmother will try to turn back on the EMF (or whatever the name of the shield is) that was protecting them from the entity.

An unanswered question where does father come from ? In season 1 Mother by logging into a simulation she sees her creator Campion Sturges we understand he caught she was a Necromentian Lamia he reprogrammed to be the Mother of Hope of humanity on Kepler 22b. she settles into the ship and meets Father. we still don't know Father's true nature, a service Androide or much more !?

I loved the first season, and I was hoping we'd get more answers to the questions the finale posed. However, like you mentioned, season 2 just posed more questions than it answered. I'm not sure if season 3 has already been greenlit, but I don't have high hopes for this series anymore. This is why shows that still insists on ending with cliffhangers these days are even more frustrating. I'm not looking forward to S3 at all.

I think at some point, two technocrats with some embryos fled from Kepplar because they were devolving into the mercreatures. . So the two pilots took their Mythraic texts and religion that originally revolved around grandmother and tried to populate on another planet, Earth. Did you see the Relic that Vita found? not only was it smaller, but it had 'eye' carvings on every surface. Unlike the tree box. May be it would give the person weaponized eyes? And now father has it.... oo er... I think the Granny game is re-sequencing genes via optical manipulation. - The fruit of the tree also has an effect on people. Maybe making them more android like. - I think the planet core has some kind of breading program going on, that requires intelegent life..... as it said - 'I am Human, but I am also many things. ' Season three will see a show down between Granny and Father I think... and Mother will meet the AI again I am guessing. Can't wait! (oh and the Vrille text has to play a part)

@@OneTakeVids ahhhh I am anime only also, respect there and apologies. the amount of emotions and sadness I feel knowing this is the endgame is unreal. just wanted to say appreciated the vid, didn't know you reviewed aot and I fail to realize the trolls who want to spoil. I have one spoiler I got told about/saw online. I assume it'll be the last episode of this season. I have no clue how this will play out, tho Riener is my favourite character, but connie and armin in this episode showcased the duality of human emotions, one ready to die, one ready to kill to complete their goals to save mankind (in their opinion) every episode this season (pt 2) has been better than the last which is super hard to accomplish. Mappa has been a great step up from wit studios tho the blend on all the seasons has been just spectacular to view. I honestly believe this is one of, if not, among the greatest stories ever told. nothing is un important or wasted. everything matters and every scene is important for pay offs. ( have you had a chance to revisit eren and zekes travels ? if you go back in the anime ( and manga apparently) there is evidence to prove this happened during the earlier seasons. one of my favourite pay offs. mind blown like everyone else . lastly forgot to put this is. I forgot daz and Samual too. one was saved by Ymir in season 2 and one was part of the season 1 I believe. had to rewatch to figure out who they were but significant roles in the early story. more of the pay off from isyama (y) props on review and sorry to hi jack this chat. ps my thoughts on raised by wolves, in other videos ive commented how sol is good. lol well my idea is sol is good and that GM is the real foil to the story. technocrats = mythraic ( technology for androids) believers = atheists (oxy moron) I also think father is GM partner . he must have been preprogrammed or re programmed to find GM and unconsciously reassemble her as part of her grand scheme. Eren wakes up from a dream where you see images of things that haven't happened yet. So, I've actually suspected time shenanigans since day 1. So cool to see that stuff finally paying off. RE: Trolls... I've been extra careful ever since someone decided to spoil something major in the comments of my spider-man recap haha. But, I love this show so much, so we'll at least do an episode on our podcast next week discussing the finale + our overall thoughts on the series. Good chance I also do another analysis video or two on the main channel here once the season is wrapped up. I think your theories on Raised by Wolves are totally plausible and funny enough... I'm publishing a Raised by Wolves podcast tonight which floats the exact same theory that technocrats became mythraic / believers became atheists. Great minds think alike! haha

@@OneTakeVids amazing reply. omg the first episode. such a flash, yes that was such good foreshadowing, plus everyone like everyone missed the opening title screen telling us about Marley. that one is my favourite fml im a idiot. agreed about the trolls and im bummed you had that happen. specially if batman holds a special spot to you. I really enjoyed batman myself and being 35, its what batman should have been since day one for me and even pre 80s. the year 2 story was unreal and was like watching a superhero mystery (saw but batman) and super realistic hero/man. aot episode : no worries and im thankful I found the review on your channel. hard to find true passionate fans who aren't doing reviews for clicks. ah Brandon reviews is they other channel I usually catch reviews on. I have seen some cool videos on your channel I wanna check out. appreciate the info on the podcast your doing and ill try to catch that when you drop it . also this weeks episode...... omfg, man holy fuck, ive watched it 4/5 times is so amazing. could say best of season. tho every episode is getting that trait. enjoy when you catch it and Dedicate you heart! I was right... The "emotional" SNAKE was protecting them by eating the fruit and the tree. There are two forces... 1) attempting to prevent the AI from escaping. 2) intelligent humans helping the entity to grow and evolve.
