Raised by Swans is the solo musical project and alter ego of Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eric Howden. Howden has written, recorded and released three independent albums as Raised By Swans; Codes and Secret Longing, 2005, No Ghostless Place, 2010, and his most recent, Öxnadalur, which was released in November of 2014.

The second part of the song just tears me apart...

You did very well with the lyrics, there are only two lines that are incorrect. Here are the right lyrics: 1) You survived on heaven and earth was contrived by failure. 2) Somewhere in the night, your chemicals ignite. Apart from those two, very good job!
