Yeah, I’d understand limiting them to 1 pick if they had a shield option. Right now shields are oppressive, but they didn’t even give Striker a shield to use so why limit them to a 1 pick.

@@millennium677 agreed. That part can be mitigated by a good report/reputation system. My point was that doing recruit rush is fun and is a staple of this game’s “culture”. Even then, it’s casual only, so I don’t understand why Ubisoft keeps taking things away from people who just wanna goof off in casual. People shouldn’t have to play the game to the letter in a casual setting, 100% of the time. Ubisoft has been the fun police for a while now.

They only "cared" because it became an esports phenomenon and grew an audience for several years. Now that they can't maintain it and seem to be stripping away as much of the nuances of this game as they can while leaving the core experience intact. its still a better shooter than 90% on the market, but they keep making it more and more like the mobile game. Which scares me.

From pump action and semi auto shotguns, to assault rifles and I believe lmgs if I remember corretly. I hoped they would bring back the fact you could use any gun type (not all in game guns but at least one ar, on mg, one shotgun and a dmr for attack. One smg shotgun and dmr for defense) on recruits but they didn't. I'm so sad for that.

Funny how I stopped playing 5 years ago and the only thing that hasn't changed since is the fact this is a first person shooter and they're still pointlessly removing stuff that made it unique. @@lukaspumo3498 I'm playing with emeralds and diamonds. We're getting shot from inside the site through shields. They're also able to plant the defuser from outside right after drone phase. There isn't really anything you can do at that point.

This season sucks. It’s so obvious that the Devs are talking slower due to the lack of content to present. Reduction in content was supposed to be a trade off for a reduction in cheaters, but we all know Siege is a cheater infested cesspool right now.

So... I gotta pay $600 a month for an apartment. $75 dollars a month to get internet for said apartment. Paid $500 dollars for a console to play games on with said internet. I need to pay $17 a month to play online on said console. I had to pay $60 to get seige and I'm not even counting all the yearly passes. Now y'all want to bill me monthly also... gaming used to be such an easy hobby. Just plug in the console, stick in the disc and nemory card and go.

All this tells us is that Recruit can have hard breach charges and impact EMP nades, which does not feel worth an entire season to me idk

we need fewer operators and more attention spent on bugs and balancing. This game is definitely one of the least beginner friendly games out right now with how many operators are in the game. Far too much too keep track of, how all operators interact with one another. A recruit rework is a cool idea, that will make it a bit easier for newbies to learn the game mechanics.

The game has some great momentum(thanks to guys like Jynx) rebuilding the player base. They must act now and STOP adding new operators, they need to balance the 70+ they have now and put the game into a permanent Operation Health. Add an operator a year, whatever. It should not be front and center of every season, it gets boring and is why many old players cannot return to this game. Because it's not the same game. Thank you if you've read all this, I am a massive fan of the game and would love to see it thrive and expand into many more years to come. Spread the word!

@@bucciarati7766 I believe it was because it took a large amount of storage space (i think about 10-15% of the game's data was T-Hunt) for something that players only use to warm up, so to save space for more content they took it out.

Want that General rating to get those 10 years old in. (They already have lines to show the trajectory of throwable lmao).

@manenwan sure you may be able to now but it's by no mean massive the same can be accomplished with co ordination with team and you could have more than 1 gun on the breach with a bigger hole. You as a lone gun having to drone where the utility is alone hitting the emp and opening a small hole is still very couterable think about it.

This update is so terrible that they're better off not coming through with it at all. Literally no passion at this point, only "How can we squeeze the most money out of our player base with the least amount of effort?". Truly the ubisoft we all know. Honestly, both nerfs are not what anyone wanted. And the lack of quality updates already is one of the reasons why nobody wants anything to do with the subscription “service” This feels like a slap in the face. The only reason most people used Solis was to prevent drones from finding the objective. That’s what she did during prep phase! Is Mute supposed to wait until after prep phase to place his jammers?! Can multiple people still pick recruit? How many weapons can they choose from? This feels like you’re pulling content rather than adding to it.

I do agree, although we should've seen this coming the instant they said "remaster" and not "remake". If you look at remastered games they usually just get a glow up and some QOL changes. Thats the same thing that happened here lol.

For clarification, here is what we got: - There are no new operators - There are no new maps or useful updates - Fenrier and Solis were killed - The first thing I see when I log in is a membership system that forces users to pay to win. We used to pay £25 a year to now have to pay £7 a month is absolutely insane. No one is going to enjoy this update, "VIP stuff" BS! i was actually waiting for the new season update to then receive this BS i rather play another game. Good job Ubisoft, you guys have ruined everything you have ever accomplished.

Ubisoft's idea of a "rework" is really starting to get ridiculous. So you're telling me you just gave the recruit access to freely edit his gadgets put him in ranked and called it a day? dude that's crazy how a company can make so many bad choices in so little time. truth is that we all love siege but they still don't care for us and just for money since its from ubisoft. reality is that we should stop buying and playing this game, letting it die on its own and with time some other company will make another game like rainbow six siege and probably better with less greedy choices

Look, I’ve played R6 since release and I have always enjoyed the game. Over the last few years, I’ve noticed a lot of hate from people in the community. But honestly, the game is 100x better than what it was on day one. Don’t get me wrong, Ubisoft are greedy af and are always finding sneaky ways to get your money, but if you don’t like it, it may be best for you to explore the oversaturated genre of first person shooters and find one that suits your needs. 😂

God I hate when Ubisoft does this thing where they remove impacts from operators who deserve it. Like vigil and solis, like I get it, solis was a bit strong so you nerfed her ability but why remove her impacts it’s just irritating.

it completely changes the way you have to play her. vertical strats are out of the question. no more surprising unaware droners. This is really pathetic man, she was one of my favorite ops in high elo matches.

I feel like this video took more budget and time to make than the season itself. In addition its full of extremely hopeful takes on the game, I don't feel like were playing the same game.
