On Saturday April 23rd at the 66rd Annual Del Mar National Horse Show in Del Mar, California we were entertained by the Rainbow Riders.
Rainbow Riders
Often referred to as the "Blue Angels on horseback", the Rainbow Ridera Precision Mounted Drill Team amazes audiences with its incredible group of ladies and horses who perform highly skilled, high-speed, precision drills with intricate, and, at times, extremely dangerous maneuvers. They fill the areena with the excitement of fast horses, tight crosses, and colors of the rainbow
Women of all ages who come from all walks of life make up the Rainbow Riders team. In spite of their diversity, they all share a deep love of horses, hard work, and have forged a camaradie which is evident as their fearlessness will undoubtedly leave you on the edge of your seat cheering for more.

If you live near Golden, Colorado, then you can join the westernaires adult ride. Of if you're below age 14, you can join it

70 is too much imo. My moms team rides with 16 riders. That to me is the perfect amount. You don't want too many riders or itll look jumbled up and disorganized

Westernaires is a lot of fun. In mustangs we just lope our drill with flags

I don't really like Westernairs. Only reason why is the drills I've seen weren't very clean and had too much going on. This team shows clear movements with a good amount of riders. There is spacing issues but I know that spacing can be a pain in the butt haha

The westernaires are garbage. Also, it isn't all about speed. This certainly isn't the best routine out there, but at least you can clearly see what they're doing. The Westernaires just look like a jumbled mess of toddlers who were signed up because their parents didn't feel like watching them.

Well- they do have different tack- and different music, they are not 100% copying them, and this video was back in 2011- and they are both 100% different languages, so they can't copy them all the way.
Westernaires is a great organization. But they are not the only drill team organization in the world and you are not representing them very well by belittling other drill teams. It is girls like you that give Westernaires a bad name.

I'm in westernaires but I don't belittle other drill teams like other girls in the organization. I'm currently in a team called Mustangs and will hopefully move up to tripl AAA soon
