Rainbow Falls is a very cool off-roading area located outside of Westcreek, Colorado. It is on the west side of Rampart Range and not too far from Deckers and Woodland Park. Most of this area is probably rated moderate in my opinion. It gets tight in the trees so I would not take a full size pickup truck on this trail. This area sees a lot of ATV and UTV use but we didn’t see too many people on the trail and had a great day wheeling. Camron was in town from New Mexico and my buddy Chris joined us on the trail. The best part about this area for me is Moab Hill (some people call it Little Moab). It is a cool optional play area to test your skills and get better at wheeling.

It’s a fun little trail and it’s pretty close to the house. That little hill obstacle sure is fun to mess around on. The rest of the trails are easy and pretty scenic and it’s lower elevation so you can run it in for a lot of the winter when all the other trails are snowed in.

Haha that’s awesome. This is a cool spot too. Not many good trails to run in the winter I guess. I wish there were more. I can’t wait for summer wheeling season! It’s getting close! - Geoff

Great video! I can't believe how chewed up Little Moab is now. You and Cameron did a great job on that obstacle. You both always take the hard lines! I'm very impressed with how the JT did! Great Driving skills by Cameron! Nice job!

It is a cool area! It usually doesn’t get a lot of snow so it’s a good place to go wheel in the winter. We try to push our limits! Sometimes I think we don’t hit hard enough stuff but I’ve got to have a little more money in the bank account to fix stuff that breaks so sometimes I shy away from it. 😂😂😂. - Geoff

Don’t know how I missed this but am just seeing it! Guess I subscribe to too many folks and it got lost in the shuffle, but good to see you guys out and about. Gotta admit I laughed when Cam said he’d take the really hard line if he had his JK. His Gladiator came out nice and hope he likes it.

Thanks for watching Tom! He likes it okay. He and Jimmy went and hit Hole in the Rock trail by Lake Powell a couple of weeks ago when we got all of that snow. We were supposed to go but I called it and didn’t want to risk the highway drive there with as much snow as we got. Jimmy started calling Camron’s Gladiator “dragger” because it was dragging its belly for 3 days. Camron just bought an LJ yesterday!!! So he might sell his Gladiator. He’s already talking axle swaps for it since it’s not a Rubicon model with lockers. I’m excited to see what he does with the LJ! Hope you’re doing well. It’s starting to warm up and I’m jonesing to go wheeling! - Geoff

that mini moab is pretty awesome! its def getting dugged out vs what it was 7 or 8 years ago, so makes it more fun for a challenge. Saw some guy on a trials bike go up that, thought it was nuts lol. My old XJ on 35s went up back then, but was a lot more mellow. great vid! beautiful gladiator btw. what tire size are those?

Mini Moab is pretty cool. I’m glad we have something like that close to Denver to play around on especially during the colder months. It is WAY more dug out than it used to be! I was looking through my old Charles Wells book and I used to put dates on the pages when I ran the trails (stopped doing that now) and it looks like I first ran it in 2013 and it’s way more dug out. Everything is getting that way as I’m sure you know! More traffic, more tire spin, bigger holes. At least it keeps the challenge up. Thanks for the kind words. Camron’s Gladiator is running I think a 2” spacer lift with 35” Yokohama MTs. The other Gladiator is on no lift and 37 x 13.50 Toyo MTs. 👍🏻

Sweet man, going this weekend what road number is mini moab? And any other roads in rainbow falls you recommend? Do you think my frontier can do little moab? (2 inch lift(11.8 inch ground clearance) 32s, rear locker, sliders, steel bumpers front and back

Thanks Sammy! 👍🏻 it’s a cool area for sure. Do you have a gps app or mapping software? It’s not a maze up there but it can be confusing because there’s so many forest roads and off shoots. Moab Hill is here: 39.14390, -105.08656. I would mark and map this for sure because you could miss it. We usually drive Illinois Gulch and Missouri Gulch and just kind of explore around. It does connect to Long Hollow road but I’m not sure about the status of that trail right now. You can do little Moab hill for sure. The far right and left sides of it are the easiest and it gets harder toward the center. Your locker will help but I would just start on the far sides going up and down and then make it harder as you go!! Let me know how it goes! - Geoff
