The Rainbow Children's Home is an orphanage situated in Pokhara, Nepal. Its operations include housing, feeding, and schooling to not only children without homes but children of parents without the funds to support them. In part of the project is a permaculture ranch in development, an adventure/travel/trekking office, and a women's handicrafts workshop whose proceeds go directly to supporting the expenses of the home itself. A truly remarkable place, truth be told, raising children of the future with compassion and love.
