This reminds me of when I was a young teen and we would go to the drive-in theater. When a rain storm blew through dad would turn off the speakers and we would sit there and listen to the rain until they started up the movie again. Sometimes it would be late when we all got home. What made it so exciting was my mom would pack a picnic basket and dad would make a run to the snack box for cokes to have along with our sandwiches mom made. He would get back in the car and make sure we all got a few drops of the rain off his hat on us. Fun family times. Thanks for the memories!

At first, I did it hoping the downpour would subside b4 making a sprint from the car door to the office/house door. It didn't take long, during our Pacific NW rainy season, before I was actually going outside to the car just to lay back in the seat, close my eyes and listen to the rain. This video is exactly the same experience. 😌😌😔😴😴😴😴

@@briennabradley I noticed that too as the traffic lights take so long to change. I love the way the motor bike just glides by, slowly. the whole effect is like being in a dream.

At 15:16 the lights are turned off in the white car on the right side. At 16:19 the lights are turned off in the house - top-center on the screen. At 28:37 the lights in the white car on the right side turns back on. At 28:44 the left door on the white car open.At 29:15 the owner of the white car steps out of the car. 29:35 he opens the back, and closes it again at 30:44. At 31:08 he opens the left door, and closes it again at 31:34, and goes to the right side of the car.At 32:00 the backlights on the car blinks a bright White light 3 times. At 33:13 the red lights turns off. I need a life...

Then I noticed the lights on the white car were on, so I waited to see when or even if they'd turn off, they did. There were no turning back for me at that point ;)

Yeah playing video games will keep your mind racing you'll never sleep. I used to play Vice City and Metal Gear Solid all night sessions when I was 20. Once my head hit the pillow I was still seeing the game in my mind it kept me from sleeping properly. I don't game much now I'm 43. Miss it I love games, but now it makes my eyes hurt and makes me run to toilet every ten mins that's the bad nerves gaming makes worse. Games are awesome fun, but they are not good for your mentally health and are addictive. All that shit catches up with you lad once you hit your 40s.

Never look at Facebook or play games if ur stressed. I'd suggest turn phone off get into bed, make sure room is really dark. Make sure everything is off before I get into bed.

Lol, I always end up back to this particular one. It's the best for me. That sounds authentic. Like the fluctuations in the rain sounds; speeds up then slows down, loud and soft thunder, and rain w/wind gust.

Of all the sleeping videos I've watched over the years, this one I always come back to. It's my favourite because all the other videos you'll find the rain is at the same pace because it's computer driven. But the real rain you loved hitting off your bedroom window at night when you were a kid wasn't in the same rhythm or perfect harmony. It had flaws and unequal spashes and patterns, just like this sound here. Accurate this is.

this reminds me of when i was younger and after a long trip in the car i'd be so sleepy just staring out the window with half open eyes, watching as the rain chucks down. lovely x

Reminds me of when your driving home in the back of the car falling asleep to open your eyes and seeing it raining

the sound of the rain in the car is poetic. Maybe somethimes I took the car with the sole intention of driving around in the rain, passing through old villages with wooden and stone houses, not far from my house, where my grandparents lived, in the Alps. Nice useless trip.

I can't believe this! I have recently heard rain sounds from falling on a caravan but although similar, this one from a car, sounded more like my childhood memories! As kids, at Ryan's Caravan Park, Kikee, Clare in Ireland (I'm thinking our caravan was in Ryan's? There is a Ryan's anyway, I'm being a pedant!). I recall, my parents bed was a pull down from the wall type, it meant when it was down, one side was by a side caravan window. My two younger brothers (John is in heaven now, at 36 he went, in 2016) Charles is left and he's around 37, I'm 47 anyway, we used all pile onto the bed with my parents, on their 20s only because they wed at 18 anyway,the sound of the rain pelting against the caravan roof, sounds like mental being tapped and it makes me feel like that 8 year old again! I thought, I was the only person that rain sounds, made feel safe!! I also recall, dad getting up earlier so he'd place a lobster on to boil and while it was cooking, he'd hop back into the pull down bed and tell my mum and 2 brothers cool made up, adventure stories. Dad used get the odd lobster from the local fishmonger, as it was dead fresh seeing as Kilkee is a seaside town. Its gone far too commercialised now and family members have upgraded to holiday homes now but I recall the caravan days far more!! I wish that I could just be that happy child forever, in my mind I am. Every night, as I sleep I dream that I'm that happy, healthy kid, John my beloved brother is here and I see my parents daily, not once every 10 years! God bless you that made it this far. I hope, you have happy childhood memories too. That was just a tiny one, I could write a book on my happy childhood. Love from Ireland, Saturday, 8th of April 2022 @1.52 am. 🇮🇪❤️🤗

Idk something about being the youngest and being brought along with older cousins and siblings . It’s just nice now that I’m a older teen and when I go out with them and after a good day then it rains while they r driving just brings a nice ambience .

Thunder and lightning is 100% better than snow I have sleeping problems the thunder storm helps a lot

I think this is wonderful. In a world where people constantly play games on phones or need a distraction the second there's a silence, its great to just sit and think while listening to the rain belt down, thank you.

Only 7 days "til 2020 has landed... and In just a few short months my age shall place me squarely in the lap of those (who are) officially too old to continue living! This aging thing means I can now say...I've been giving sleep a try at this yt site for four years!!

this is the best around and I've heard many and am very sceptic about these sounds.nice work.ì listen for half a year now

This is by far the best one I have found to fall asleep to. I use it every night, thanks for posting.

This is perhaps the only video I found with real rain in a car, all the other videos are made with fake rain or with lots of lightning, this video is perfect thank you very much (en plus The intensity of the rain is perfect too, neither too noisy nor too weak perfect ) :)

I've been listening to this when I go to, why do I need to listen to rain for 9 to 10 hours? crazy 😂. and a other one that I like. nothing can compare to the man in Heaven 😇. but in the mean time I'm going to LA la land , thanks again. 😊

I'm addicted to this rain noise, it's really wonderful, I'm sleeping every day, listening congratulations.

One of my very favourite rain videos on KZread. I discovered this video 5 plus years ago. It had 300,000views when I became a immediate fan. Have watched this video no less than once a week for 5 years. sometimes nightly for my insomnia. Thanks again hope to see another like this soon.

This is a very unique rain sound, and I think it's much more soothing than some that just make it seem like you're outdoors in a thunderstorm for some reason. This makes me think of a night out camping, suddenly having to run from the cheap tent to the car because the temperature dropped ten degrees and the rain picked up and no one thought to put up a tarp... and eventually you just fall asleep there, cozy with your sleeping bag. Lovely video, thank you 😴💕
