looks like it is putting out a huge amount of water and it moves very well for a Rain Bird. If I did not know otherwise I would think it is new.

Sprinkler looks efficient and covers a very large area.

Nice 70B. Mine doesn't have as big a drive nozzle like yours but it still runs good. Has some good distance

Thanks! This one didn't come with a drive nozzle and thought I would try a 3/8".

If my calculations are correct, the square footage of ground covered by the Rain Bird needs 10,666 gallons of water to achieve one inch of even watering. That would be about 4 hours 2 minutes of continuous sprinkling. Your sprinkler waters about .395 acres at a single sitting. I don't think the average veiwer recognize the massiveness of your sprinklers ability with the amount of water you have flowing through it.

Is it possible to run one of these off house water pressure? My grandma gave me one and im not sure if its clogged or if it just doesn't get enough pressure from the hose

Yes you could run one of these off of house water pressure depending on the size of the nozzles you have on it. The nozzle would have to be smaller such as 7/32", that would give a flow of (9.4 gallons per minute @ 45 PSI) to operate with on house pressure, a larger nozzle/s may not have enough pressure and volume to run. Also a brass plug would need to be installed on the rear port (longer tube) to reduce the flow needed and give all the pressure to the front (drive) nozzle and give enough pressure to kick the arm back enough to operate.

Where did you get the drive nozzle that fits this or a 70EW unit?
