Boba train station is located on the eastern edge of the municipality of the same name, within sight of the county border from Vas to Veszprém. In the southern part of the station, line 25 via Zalaegerszeg to Bajánsenye branches off from line 20, the line from Szombathely via Veszprém to Székesfehérvár and on to Budapest. Locomotives class V43, nicknamed “Szili”, dominate the traffic south of Celldömölk junction with their local and express trains. Furthermore, Siemens Desiro motor units run as Interregio trains from Győr to Kaposvár without stopping at the station. The loudspeaker announcements are gladly taken along, even if I am some distance from the platform.
