Railroad Worker Richard Dodd - Witness to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy

Railroad worker Richard Calvin Dodd was standing on top of the triple underpass, in front of John F. Kennedy's presidential motorcade on Elm Street
LANE. Did you see anything which might indicate to you where the shots came from?
DODD. Well, we all four seen about the same thing. The shots, the smoke came from behind the hedge on the north side of the plaza. And a motorcycle policeman dropped his motorcycle in the street with his gun in his hand and run up the embankment to the hedge. And then I went North to look around the corner to see if there is anyone behind the hedge and met special agent of the railroad. And he went down there, and I walked along with him to see if there were any tracks there. In which there were tracks and cigarette butts was laying where someone was stranding on the bumper looking over the fence or something.
LANE. Where you questioned by agents of any government agency on November 22, Mr. Dodd.
DODD. Yes, we were. We were taken over to the court house and questioned by I suppose Secret Service men of some kind. Asked me quite a few questions about the same as I’ve told you here today.

Only Sam Holland claimed to have seen smoke by the fence that day, no one else. The other railroad workers said the smoke came from the street corner by the Depository which they presumed to be vehicle exhaust. Your investigative skills are atrocious.

The only reason you don't take the shot coming down Houston is that you have another team set up on Elm. If the only shooter is Oswald, the easiest shot is on Houston. Elm is much more challenging. In addition to everything else, the road is on an oblique from the shoot meaning you need to do 3D Kentucky windage in your head. Having been a Bradley gunner before laser sights and having to make that shot many times in my career, it's the hardest one to make. A car coming straight at you and slowing for a hairpin turn is the easiest possible engagement for this. If he's ready, he has one shot on the entrance to Houston, another near the turn corner if he misses the first and a third as the car turns unless they accelerate and go straight as a reaction. I watched a new video recently that claim that Oswald misses shot one just after the turn and about 1 second before Zapruder re-starts his camera. Providing 11 seconds for all 3 shots. Still seems unlikely given everything. But, at least it's plausible to have gotten off 3 shots at all in that time. I wasn't aware of Oswald going after the General and missing before this. Think about that though, he has a stationary target with everything his own way and he misses. Then, he's going after a moving target, on an oblique and does and amazing job? Seems unlikely. To me, Oswald (or DSBD shooter) goes "miss", "hit to Connelly only", "miss". Fence team goes "Kennedy throat shot only", "kill shot". This makes the most sense since they have the best angle on target. Incidentally, a similar angle on the target that Oswald would have had on Houston street.

Yes. a) All bullets and fragments ever found were matched to Oswald's rifle. b) Victims' reactions in Zapruder's film clearly demonstrate they are hit by the same bullet, and ergo, from behind. c) View of the entry wound on Connally's back would demonstrably have been blocked by Kennedy's body, ergo the same bullet has to have gone through both of them. d) Victims' wounds demonstrably line up on a trajectory and track straight back to the sixth floor window. e) Bullet recovered from the stretcher is badly crushed at the nose and flattened down one side, a condition consistent with going through Kennedy without hitting bone, slowing and tumbling on leaving him, then broadsiding its way through Connally's ribs, as medical and forensic evidence clearly demonstrate. f) Witnesses directly under the sixth floor window firmly said the shots all came from directly overhead. g) No unidentified persons were ever seen inside the building. h) Oswald was the only employee inside the building during the shooting to immediately flee the crime scene.

@@aaronz7056 yes, you have to be a naive person to disregard all the mountains of evidence against Oswald, in favor of the lies and half truths that’s been fed to the public, starting with mark lanes lies and continue till today with other conspiracy authors. No wonder so many people believe conspiracy, because they’ve been lied to about the facts and evidence. In 60 years not a shred of evidence has ever come out supporting conspiracy. Just smoke a mirrors, and shadowy figures in the shade trees. Of all the thousands of people needed to be in on it, from the Dallas pd, secret service, fbi, cia, high government officials, autopsy doctors, employees of Hess and Eisenhardt, Warren commission panel, HSCA panel, The Clark Panel, the Rockefeller Commission, the Church Committee, the Ramsey panel, and more, they’ve all went against human nature, and kept the biggest secret in human history, as the saying goes, only 2 people can keep a secret if one is dead. None of them having a conscience, none of them wanting to become rich and sell their story to news organizations, none of them coming forward on their death beds with anything credible. How naive and unrealistic can people be. And the bigger a plot the more likely something is going to go wrong with the plan. But Somehow these thousands of people managed to plan this massive conspiracy and carry it out so perfectly , that 60 years later there’s still not a shred of evidence of its existence. About the magic bullet specifically, with the clear enhancements we have of the zapruder film, there’s no doubt they react instantaneously just after jfk clears the sign, if they would’ve had these clear enhancements back then, this “magic bullet theory” would’ve never even started. There’s no doubt all the evidence shows the wound on connallys back is and entrance, with his jacket and shirt fibers pushed in, then the tumbling bullet made a massive exit wound below his right nipple, smaller sound on back, massive wound in front means it came from the rear, then it went thru his wrist and got stuck in his thigh, only to come out after being jostled on the stretcher and clothes removed. Mr Tomlinson bumped the stretcher and it fell on the floor, his first interviews with investigators said he wasn’t paying attention to which stretcher it came from so he couldn’t determine that, only to later become more conspiracy minded with mark lane and say it fell from the unaffiliated stretcher. A western cartridge bullet on average weighs 161.2 grains, the stretcher bullet weighs 158.6 grains , all the fragments removed from connally were small flakes that weighed approx 1.5 grains, with the remainder left in him not coming close to going over 161.2 according to dr. Gregory’s recollection. But this is a lie joe Rogan constantly spews. Why cant people see this realistically and with common sense?

A policeman gets murdered so the other policemen start looking for a guy that lived in the Soviet Union to pin it on?

If that were an easy area to settle, it would have worked for Henry Ford as well. It worked for neither. Ford had dealt with failure before. Jones obviously handled it differently. Lawyer or not, Jones didn't have one of those after he died and before he died, perhaps he was like any other client (needing a lawyer and that isn't always a good thing. His statements and Sam Hollands are hard for me to believe. Holland said, in addition to the one policemen dropping his motorcycle on the street and running up the embankment. That he also saw another motorcycle policemen ride half way up the embankment, then drop his bike and run the rest of the way up it. The Bell video clearly shows no such thing happened.

Holland also claimed to have seen Kennedy lying face down with his foot hanging over the side of the limo as it passed below. That didn't happen either. As for Dodd, he said nothing about smoke in his statement to the FBI (Commission exhibit 1420) and said he didn't know where the shots came from. For some reason, these railroad workers told a different story years later.

I've shot many firearms and well over a thousand rounds of ammo in my lifetime. All modern firearms use ammo loaded with smokeless powder. To see smoke after the firing of a round, the shot would have to be fired from a black powder rifle or revolver, which is very unlikely. I'm not disputing the direction where the guy thought the shot came from, but I am disputing the seeing of smoke after the shot was fired.

Not true, you can clearly see smokeless powder smoke especially if the lighting is right and it’s a large powder charge. Smokeless powder from the 1940s and 50s was also a smokier mix of chemicals than more modern powders. It’s smoke less not without smoke

Lee Harvey Oswald was just a fall guy ...seems there was a look alike as Oswald in the book depositary that maybe fired at least once...a nurse Parkland Memorial Hospital saw a bullet hole in the front windscreen of the limousine thereafter the limousine was quickly removed from sight ....why...witnesses that saw smoke from the grassy knol were not called to testify at the Warren commission...why ...in all his parades there were atleast two trucks in front of the limousine...yet in Dallas there was no such thing...why there no secret service agents standing on the back of the limousine...why there were no police or army sniper's on the roof tops and in buildings...also after the first shot ...why did the limo pause before taking of in high speed...also at the shooting of officer Jd Tippett...Lee Harvey's wallet was found...clearly a set up ..further more Jack Ruby... Jd Tippett and Lee Harvey Oswald knew each other they met at the club....
