Denny G. Jelsma is a popular KZreadr and Face book personality. Denny promotes himself to his viewers as a small town "Dutch" boy from the corn fields of Iowa. Denny is now 78 years young. Each show starts out with him saying "Good Morning American" how are you? Monday morning Rail, I'm your native son. Denny was born and raised in Pella Iowa. The Jelsma's family came from Friesland Netherlands in 1849 to Pella Iowa, they were in the Insurance and real estate business for over 90 years. Denny is more than a "Dutch Boy" from the corn fields of Iowa for sure. Denny spent 32 years with Culligan International and retired a VP. You saw him on TV as the "Culligan Man" in the 70's-80s. He has travel to 67 different country and all 50 states. He owns "Jelsma Graphics" which sells embroidered clothing to railroads and rail enthusiast. You have seen him at train shows for the past 35 years selling his railroad embroidered clothing all over the United States. You see him on the very popular "Ken Patterson" "What neat this week" in model railroading on “You Tube”. Now you see him on “Face Book and “YOU Tube” every week. Denny is always promoting his Face book page along with his “You Tube” channel. His Face book is "Denny G. Jelsma". His "You Tube" Denny Jelsma @dennyjelsma8017

    While the Show and Tell series is very educational, this episode is a standout one. Example is Rodney's explanation of why open-end observations disappeared. I always thought is was for safety and building cost reasons. Very well done detailed explanations on the various car types.
