I've been looking around for the same thing and unfortunately I've come to the conclusion that it's the only one. However, someone who's handy with aluminum, a CNC machine, and resourcing parts could potentially take all the logic boards out of it and throw it into a new case with better constructed switches and levers

There is a small company called TS controllers who do modular stuff, very high quality

I’ve had one for over a year and it’s brilliant

Hey Lazer, just a little note, be careful with the horn lever as it is a little loose on these units, and it has a couple times broke off due to me pulling it too hard when I played Run 8 Train Simulator, but if it does you can always just easily put it back in

I love mine, makes the game a whole lot better. The only problem I have and I don't think it's actually a raildriver thing more of a game thing is that unlike TS classic were all those blue buttons so exactly the same thing for every train and I have them labelled as such. When you use it in TSW2 they all do different things for different locomotives which means you have to go to tge calibration screen each time you change locomotives and look them up and write them down. Or just don't use the blue buttons which is a shame , a few do the same thing but not many

Hey oliver love the Vid also can you do a Train Simulator race with Commuter Trains to see which commuter train is faster

I found when using the throttle especially rest your hand on the controller and just use you thumb and next finger on the bottom of the lever . Gives a bit more precise control.. but that could just be me .

Am glad you got it from the same website as I've been looking at I've been up and down google looking for reviews for Keyboard Specialists Ltd and the other U.K Suppuler called X-Keys uk hear bad things about them, so might get this from Keyboard Specialists for defo its I think £10 more than the other website but defo interested in buying this now. Also In the Adv Settings in TSW2 there are Calibrations for this. I first Seen this product well back in the day when I used to Play Microsoft Trainsim that I still have the CD for haha :)

hey oliver that is one awsome controller i think you should try it on the tube stock on trainsimworld 2 and also i love to see you try it on a a4 mallard the class 91 lner or intercity on trainsimulator

Just kind of thought of this so you know how in some locomotives, the controls for operating the locomotive are to the side instead of in front of you (ex GE ES44AC) I am a bit curious to see if someone could try to make a product like this so that they are playing the locomotive(s) more in line to real life

It's soooo plastic toy like! LOL. Otherwise, how cool is this! I figured there would be a high end version by now, but nope. Thanks for the video. Ordering this soon if I can't find anything better. Oh, forgot to mention, a really cool tool for train sims. Stream Deck! You create your own icons for the buttons! You can even do things like change the icon depending on the off/on position. (so I hear, I haven't done this, but seen it done). Just buy the smallest stream deck. I have the 32 button one, and never able to utilize all the buttons. I just put silly pictures on the unused buttons. :)

The speedometer should be switched for the nearest speed change value.

Yeah looks really cool but a bit flimsy is the word I think you're looking for. 😀👍

CAN IT WORK ON TRAIN SIMULATOR CLASSICS

in 2024 I'm finding this controller useless. It seems so much DLC is not tested with it and there are all kinds of issues like for example: TSC class 68 you can release but not apply any brakes even though the lever appears to move in the cab with the controller, I couldn't get the key into the class 142 in TSW with the controller connected and I have no idea why that would be singe the controller itself shouldn't be touching the key, The springy lever feature in TSW keeps interfering with control inputs so if you are doing anything more than just slamming on full throttle the controller is actually more cumbersome than the keyboard, the RETB buttons get crossed with the horn on the West Highland Extension in the Class 37, and the TSC Class 385 has issues with the reverser although it was looking like the most promising thing I tried with the controller. There is just so much that doesn't work as expected I think I've just bought a funny looking brick. I've not tried it with OpenBVE yet but imagine it should work flawlessly there; all this issues seem to be TSC and TSW related which sadly is what I bought it for.

I’d think you should get a controller from TS Controllers for a UK trains like a 377 etc

Yes but you have to download the drivers off of their wedding site to use it with TS classic.

afraid not,its non compatiable with TSW,as that sim works on a different principle ie real world set to drive like a real train .

I think this train simulation is good 👍(£229.25) from you but I have no knowledge of that, I did train simultions with PC (CD ROM railway simulator 2010) 20 years ago and I had to put cd's in mi laptop and due to wear and tear on that laptop I could not do train simulation anymore and olso in my second laptop then ! and now I recently bought a new desktop but those CDs won't fit in there to use them 😕, and what should I do for the sake of doing simulations with my desktop.
