But just in case, I put my hat in the ring! 😂 When I bought the rod holder, it was because of the price and availability. Had never heard of them prior to that. Glad they have a full catalog. I’ll have to check them out.

You can put the railblaza sideport mount on the backside of your crate on the higher end, and mount the pole there. You will add a feet to the pole.

Very thoughtful review Bryan. Wouldn't even think to test out the distance of the light. I do like that it appears much firmer than my 360 light. Keep it up bud!

Nice review as always bro! Being seen on the water is always of high importance, especially in areas with heavy boat traffic. That's one of the biggest reasons I wear that red, white and blue life vest... I can be seen from great distance. Also, my Kayak being forest green and tan is not highly visible by itself. Nice that you had some recommendations to them to improve their product going forward! Thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks, buddy! I still love the product. And I'm still going to dress in bright colors, at least on LSC. I got my PFD on an amazing sale and it's the only reason I got a green one. While it looks amazing and I love the color, if I could've got it at the price I did in Orange I wold've done it in a heartbeat.

height can be an easy fix. Add a small PVC inside your existing rod holder and make it adjustable by being creative.

The button is probably purposely designed like that so you can't accidentally turn it on or off. I can see you putting it away with fresh batteries, and with an easier to press button, pull it out for use and it's dead. Just a thought.

I never even really thought about it that way. It’s a good point because I do throw this into a storage bin with a lot of other things. I only turn it on/off once every trip so it’s not such a big deal to me anymore. PRO TIP: Set an alarm on your phone to remind you to turn it off after sunrise 🔋

I like my telescopic one better. No break down and a smaller foot print. Having a sit in rec. yak it tucks up nicely out the of the way underneath one of my gunels.
