This is great. I think the only downside of good soundproofing in sleeper trains is(for me personally), now the sound won't drown the snoring noises from people around me.

Can't agree more... That's the worst nightmare for me. No matter if we get tier 3 2 or 1 ac cabin if we have someone snoring like a 🦍...

Vande Bharat sleeper should have a deluxe premium first class with single occupancy doored and carpeted private cabin, reclining chair transformable to fully stretched bed with adequate cushion, bed sheet and pillow, as well as quilt, reading light controllable from the chair, in cabin toilet and shower equipped with toiletries, locker, small refrigerator, LED screen, foldable dining rack, separate study table with chair, cabinet with hangers, in cabin covered luggage rack, proper noise proofing, big windows, if possible roof window like vistadome, in cabin butler and turndown services, technical scope for offering a flexible variety of meal optiions (ranging from cuisines of different Indian regions as well as east asian, European and continental, both vegetarian and nonvegetarian) etc with cabin layout spread horizontally instead of longitudinally. Ticket price for such a class should be around INR 15,000~ 20,000 for a 1200 ~1500 km journey.

No. India mai aluminium trains nhi hai. Kuch aluminum metros hai though Stainless steel I guess

The Govt should increase tracks rather than the gimmick of vande bharat. India makes 600m of tracks per day with respect to 37km per day of roadways. Tracks are running at a capacity of 120% to 150%.

That work is going on as well. Roads are easier compared to Railways, you can't achieve a speed of 37km per day that easily. And if you have travelled in vande bharat you would not have called it gimmick. That's the improvement our railways needed. In very simple words you can't do either or you have to do both of them at the same time. In railways the more difficult and time consuming work is upgrading the order tracks that is something which is not calculated in that 600m of tracks you are mentioned and that too is incorrect we are laying almost 14.4 kms of tracks per day. Do your study better
