This game does an excellent job of capturing the incomprehensible scale and gothic majesty of this universe. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one.

Scary thing is, this is just one city. It's so large you'll never see the entire thing in your life time.

For any one new to 40k, Luetin’s knowledge of lore is immense to say the least…

It is very impressive how seamlessly animations for the AI transisitions between ragdoll interaction, pre recorded animation sequences and including that dismemberment mechanic as well. Usally you notice the transistion with many game between animations and ragdoll.

I hear Leutin say "So basically..." and I'm preparing for a 20 min lecture on hive lore

I love luetin keeping them educated ;). As someone who is a Warhammer fan I think its great to see the same person who got me hooked on the lore be the one to teach these youtubers.

25:57 I've just been watching this sniper shot over and over again in awe at how good that sound design is, as well as the smoke trail and tracer - so cool.

the fact that the ogryn yeets a box of grenades really hard instead of individually is comedic gold

I've wanted to see the creators of Vermintide create a 40K game ever since I got hooked in the first Vermintide. The day has finally come!!

Im not a warhammer fanatic but god does this look good

the las guns are perfect. sound. looks. the beam flashing solid and disintegrating in place. They managed to make me forget these are flashlight for a second.

Giving the dogs such massive movement really makes them the perfect way to break up a solid defense. You think you're well hunkered down, then you hear the growl.

What's nice is that not only do YOUR laser beams light up the surrounding walls, your allies beams ALSO show up. Which is something that doesn't usually happen in videogames.

Holy shit, the graphics are fucking INSANE, some of the best ive ever seen. Also, i love how lore accurate everything is, including the awesome artwork, environment details and sound. By far the most lore accurate 40k game i can think of. Its so nice to FINALLY get a high quality 40k game

They even made it so if you choose the cadian background you have access to purple eyes, they really looked into everything I have alot of respect for that, game is awesome

Holy shit... just after 17:20 it looks like you drop your mag, then interrupt the reload animation by sprinting, but after sprinting, the reload animation continues from where it stopped because you'd already dropped your mag. That is truly an amazing detail that makes this game look so incredible to me.

Keep up the awesome work Drewski, and keep kicking ass!

That lasgun totally seems about as effective as a flashlight, which is canon and I appreciate.

The lasgun is actually quite good. Against the hordes and medium enemies it’ll burn a hole straight through them in one or two hits. It’s only the big guys who can tank a ton of shots.

70 round mag in every video i have seen the players fire like 5 to 8 shots then reload in the middle of combat.... hey dog you still got like 65 shots left in that mag...

@@Mirvra Seen some of the customisation you can get in their gameplay trailers and you can definitely get a gasmask if you play as the sharpshooter

I watch luetin all the time and saw the codes being released but even after 5 minutes people were saying they were gone I wouldn't be surprised if one person grabbed them up and tried to make a quick buck

"These rifles are sick".. yes however in universe they are considered to be so weak they're known as flashlights. One lasgun against an Ork Warboss isn't going to end very well for the guardsman

@@chimeraelite exactly, wall of guns hence why I love playing the guard. 4+ WS sounds bad until you have 75 shooting at you per turn

i wish they had different settings for the lasgun like rapid fire and charged fire as well as a wider apature that works like a shotgun. and fun little quirks like being unable to penetrate fog.

17:24 has a nice niche detail where when Drewski unloads his mag and when he starts to run, his mag isn't there until he stops running and puts a mag in the mag well. and the animation doesn't loop either. small and nice detail.

as the ogryn with the ripper gun its a life saver, as you can bayonet stab mid reload, also the reload animations can have subtle differences like the ogryn trying to load the mag backwards randomly.

Warhammer has to be the most diverse and polished franchise I've ever seen.

if i remember correctly, to our standard of guns/ammo the lasgun is equivalent to a .308 round. And in the 41st millennium its considered a flashlight lmao
