Agree 💯. The key is only 1 year deals - 2 years at most of course at a reasonable cost

@RaidersReport Mitch hates Robinson lowkey we do need depth at DE but, i have so much confidence in what Robinson can be for the Raiders any other team i wouldn’t have as much faith but, i think it’s understated how important he can be

I would pass on signing Gilmore and would focus on extending Spillane, Moehrig, and Koonce which means I don't expect any FA signings before Training camp starts. The other reason not to sign Gilmore is it would hamper development of younger CBs. The idea is to build not just for this season and next but to build next five years. Keep young players and stop trying to sign every big name. So I would give your plan a D, below average due too much focus on trying to sign FA when we really don't know the holes.

Until they STOP giving up 26+ points to established QB (not teams looking for a QB and trying different QBs) - they are no where near number 1 defense. Raiders are not the top defense in the NFL. The first 2 games of the regular season will tell you exactly what that defense is. Sure they stop the panthers - BUT JUST another team with a bad qb. 1) Chargers 26+ points 2) Ravens 26+ points 3) Panthers (who cares - there won't be many points scored but if they do put up 26 points - raiders are in some serious trouble) 4) Browns - low score but again no qb or a qb who isn't trying very hard. 5) Broncos - question here - another new QB. 6) Steelers - another team with QB trouble. 7) Rams 26+ points. 8) Chiefs 26+ points 9) Bengals 26+ points 10)Dolphins 26+ points 11) Broncos - still a mystery. 12) Chiefs 26+ points 13) Bucs 26+ points 14) Falcons - mystery 15) Jags 26+ points 16) Saints - Mystery 17) Chargers 26+ points. Raiders have yet (with the ONE exception of the chiefs who took the week off in preparation) to hold a good QB to less than 26 points. Graham's defenses are just not good. IF this season starts with the first to games held to less than 20 points - i will take it all back. Until i see that - i don't believe that. Playing teams that want their HC fired or a chief's team who looked past the raiders - is not stopping anyone. The RIGHT culture is there (after being absent for many years). WILL that be what turns the corder for the raiders? 10 games (statistically speaking) have Raiders giving up 26+ points. NO QB has them scoring very few points. (Getsy was a horrible choice). That's putting VEGAS at 6.5 games. it's those questionable teams without QBs that has the raiders at 6 or MAYBE 7 wins. Statistics never lie. I don't get how all the raider chans have Raiders in the playoffs - at all. That is not going to happen. If Raiders come in at 6 points - they have a shot a QB in the draft. A losing season isn't a busted season. You are never getting a super bowl with a mediocre QB. Raiders QBs... Aiden is a QB3 (at best) - he will never be a QB1. Garner is a QB2 (at best). Raiders do not have any hopes of a QB1 on the roster. They will put the 2 above in the game as starters. They named Aiden as the starter. He is a smart player who figures things out but he will be held back by Getsy. I don't know what people see in those game AP was head coach - but they were not great at all. Chargers rolled over - forget that game. the game they won against the chiefs - offense scored only 7 points. Against vikings - 0 points. Not sure from where all this hype is. Raiders will end with 6 ish wins - that's it. Chiefs and chargers are coming full steam - both want revenge and will be putting 100% into everything to beat the Raiders. Time will tell what this defense is. but if they do give up 10 games of 26+ points, you clearly have your answer. first 2 games of the season will give you a clue.
