@LetoII1994 : oh yeah... they drafterd Cj beathard and nick mullens. They also traded for Brian Hoyer and Gabbert who all did absolutely nothing to take the 49ers in winning level.

The big difference between Mahomes and Purdy is obviously arm strength. Mahomes was clocked at 62 MPH and while I haven’t seen a number on Brock I’m guessing it’s 55+. So Mahomes can throw 80 yards and Brock probably maxes out at 60 to 65 yards. But in the NFL I’m guessing 90-percent of passes travel fewer than 40 yards although, say, deep outs require a great arm. I think though that Purdy excels at throwing downfield accurately off-platform - he keeps doing it over and over - and most teams and defenses underestimate him. Purdy will cause the Chiefs more problems than they realize.
