The Las Vegas Raiders potentially could be drafting their franchise quarterback in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft but need to do there due diligence in scouting the the players at the most important position in football. The Raiders especially can't ignore a huge trait that every top quarterback needs to have in order to be successful at the highest level.

I’m wondering about Kurt Warner’s comments about college schemes and play calling not really preparing qb’s for the pro game… 1. Redundancy in play calls. 2. QBs not being asked to read the field pre or post snap 3. Schemes are too simple or not well thought out so WRs are NT getting open or they’re running too close to one another. 4. QBs aren’t throwing on schedule 5. QBs are not being developed. Just thrown out there to out “athlete” the competition.

Tough to evaluate QB for sure given all those variables but that’s why GM’s get paid the big bucks to make that decision.
I still love Mack though, hope he cones back some day

Raiders for sure are in a bad spot in the draft for a QB. .. Either reach on a Bo Nix, .. maybe take J.J. if he drops to #13, .. Pull the trigger on Penix if he drops into the 2nd, maybe trading up a smidge to get him, .. or it's Justin Fields time in Vegas.

Yea it’s an ugly spot. If the Raiders are drafting a QB in the 1st round they’re trading up for sure. If not, maybe wait until the 2nd but it depends on what they do in FA.
I just saw Xavien Howard got released. Him opposite of Jack Jack would be nice.

@@PharoahNFL yeah, he will be 31 once the season starts, I thought he was slightly younger than that. I would do a one year deal, but at that point, might as well pass.

Haven’t picked a qb in the 1rd since 2007🤦🏽♂️ (and that guy sucked). I say burn some 1st rounders and go big for Daniels cause to win in todays NFL you need a playmaker at the Q
