Al-Qadi Ayad - may Allah rest his soul- said ‘Primarily, the word (Jahada’ha) means that the man exerted his effort working in a woman, where the word (Juh’d) means energy and refers to motion by describing the type of work. This is similar to his (the prophet) saying ‘he who plowed her’ meaning he who penetrated her by his motion. Otherwise, what other fatigue could a man experience because of her, and Allah knows best.

Not all planets have a 24 hr day. That's knowledge from elementary school science class. So Dr Naik has correctly stated that in the Quran, the word yawm is not a 24 hr day. It is a "period of time" or "a day" which is not nessarily 24 hrs. How's that not logical? Dr Naik is a very educated man. He often uses science and logic to explain Islamic concepts. Time is abstract and that's a scientific concept. The answer was perfect. Thanks Dr Naik.

No it doesn’t. يوم means one DAY. it never refers to an age, or a month... it means DAY, one singular 24hr period. the same is true for the Aramaic/Hebrew origin of the word. It has only one meaning. Whoever tells you otherwise is simply being deceitful. Ayyam (plural) can mean an Age or a particular time, but youm is singular. To say otherwise is just a misunderstanding of the Arabic language.

Other planets do not have a 24 hr day. That's knowledge from highschool science. So, it makes sense what Dr Naik said about it being a "period of time" in the Quran, not a 24 hr day

Israr Ahmad How can Allah Bless him ? Allah is in Jahannam. The reason I say this is that I read in the Quran and Hadiths that Shirk is the worst of all sin. Muhammad said that if you swear to anything other than Allah that it is making that thing a partner with Allah. Yet in the Quran Allah swears to lots of things . Allah swears to the Quran he swears on Muhammad on the earth on the rain on the stars on to everything seen and unseen. That means everything like Allah swears on things like Pigs and alcohol and shit and even things like Lady Gaga when she wore a dress made out of pork at an awards show. That makes all those things a partner of Allah . And since swearing to anything other than Allah is Shirk then Allah has committed more Shirk then anyone in history. If Allah and Muhammad are right and Shirk sends you to Jahannam then that is where Allah must be. Could somebody explain to me please how it doesn’t mean that ? Thank you so much.

Calling Allah swearing by the elements in this life, and Allah says in the Qur'an Allah does whatever He Wills with or without the pleasure of creatures. No one can say "I'm better than God", and then proceed to "I'm tired I can't do this anymore I need to change" Allah doesn't need you nor anyone sir. What's shirk is calling besides Allah other deities such as calling Jesus peace be upon him and worshipping him and leaving Allah. Allah doesn't need you nor me, you need Him. Allah doesn't need His creation, doesn't need anything at all, all of us need Him. Correct yourself before you get corrected later. Salam.

No there's nothing wrong with it as time is relative. What seems to have been mentioned is called time dilation. One person can have 5 years pass by him but for an observer moving relative to that person he could be experiencing 1 day

Clear contradiction. Besides that they always claim that God is beyond space-time so this statement that a day for God states that god is in our universe. But there's no evidence for that. And if he's out of the universe, this day BS is irrelevant. Believe me. I'm an ex-muslim. And I left it when I was completely devout to it. It suddenly didn't make any sense to me

The answer can be delivered even more succinctly. The Qur'an is a book contain signs and guidance for all generations. Given this understanding and factoring in our current knowledge that time is relative, there is absolutely no contradiction in the impugned verses. What we must understand when reading is that our understanding of time is bound by the Earth's parameters. They absolutely don't apply to the rest of the universe. So then, could they really apply to the realm in which God resides? This is why the Qur'an says on multiple occasions that we see Judgment Day as far, while God sees it as near. The Day of Reckoning could occur billions of EARTH years into the future while it is already a past event for God.

@@davidhills5434 As a Muslim, I take the position that everyone who received a revelation from God (Jewish, Christian and Muslim) and then proceeds to set up a human prophet as an intercessory (Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, etc) is effectively a polytheist. I take that position because the Quran commands it. Jesus stated what you quote. He delivered the Gospel, which provides the universal message that "there is no god but God." Religious clerics distorted his message into establishing the Holy Trinity which is the foundation of the Bible as it exists today. Christians are not the only people who make this mistake. Muslims did it with the Hadith, which portrays Muhammad in a twisted fashion. Jewish people also fell into this trap when they started following the Talmud, which are Rabbinic teachings that run contrary to the Torah. If you believe God exists, submit yourself to Him alone and your life will be easier than trying to live by strict, fundamentalist, religious teachings. If you don't believe in God, peace be upon you nonetheless.

Did you ever wonder why there are so many religions out there but the only religion people work so hard to prove wrong and to oppose is Islam? There are a lot of other religions which may seem wrong, and illogical too but from what I see, Islam receives the most opposition. The more you want to prove it wrong, the more right it is, isn't it? You watch Islamic videos even though you're not a Muslim - and then you put comments to prove Islam wrong. What's your point??? You're not a Muslim, but you read the Quran, trying to prove Islam wrong. What's your point? You comment on other people's comments, trying to prove that they're wrong. What's your point? Why do you have to work so hard to prove Islam wrong? You can just walk away and be like, "OK whatever you know I'm just going to go on with my life. I can just leave Muslims as they are, just like how I don't try to prove other Buddhists or Christians wrong." But you didn't do that, did you? You didn't leave Muslims as they are. You go on every Islamic video on KZread and work hard to prove the videos wrong. You go on each comment and work hard to prove people wrong. What's your point? Why can't you leave Islam as it is? Why can't you leave Muslims as they are? Why can't you leave us alone? Why do you have to work so hard to PROVE ISLAM WRONG? Because, the truth is, the problem lies in YOURSELF. There is that little voice inside your head, whispering to you, "Islam sounds like a true religion..." but you hated that voice! You clenched your fists, gritted your teeth, and denied it! You watched Islamic videos and you were close to being convinced, but you shake your head, clearing the images away. You read Islamic comments, and you were close to being convinced, but you bit your lip and yelled, "No!". The problem lies in yourself. YOU WANT TO PROVE ISLAM WRONG BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE CONVINCED THAT ISLAM /IS/ THE TRUE RELIGION. Your ego, man. Your ego. This comment was NOT written by me. I'm jewish I know a lot about Islam also the history which is not good .I live in the UK. I was born there all muslims coming to christian countries .My ancestors been here for hundreds of years .My ancestors where ostracized from the middle East due to Islam .

You are right Muslims,Christians & Jews believe in same God ,the difference comes in the prophets they follow , while Jews & christains awaits the messiah (messenger of Allah) to come and fight the evil & establish honesty & peace on earth thinking the messiah will be from the land of Israel(the place of last messenger's arrival was never told, but he is coming was clearly told & understood) when Mohammed sallallaho alaihi wa sallam (peace & blessings be upon him) claimed his prophecy they just denied for he wasn't from their clan!(inspite of asking him questions from their respective holy books which would guide them he is last prophet & they got correct answers yet the shock of him from other clan, made them remain ignorant). Now how we know prophet Muhammad sallallaho alaihi wa sallam peace and blessings be upon him,is the last prophet? after all the centuries passed, who could be the possible reason that prophet Muhammad sallallaho alaihi wa sallam peace and blessings be upon him knew fine details of Adam(AS),Moses(AS),Jesus(AS)peace and blessings be upon them & about the events which took place in the land of Israel,Jordan & how he knew the future that world compete with possessions, buildings & injustice,corruption spreading across world? One may say he was magician,A magician can say some ambiguous signs of near future or some vague ideas(possible what others might know) of past events. But not in grand details like prophet Muhammad sallallaho alaihi wa sallam (peace and blessings be upon him) said!That shows there were revelations sent by the one who is all knower about past, present & future with definitive & clear details none but Allah Subhan wa tallah! Revelations were bought by the angel(believed & trusted by Muslamin,Jews &Christians) "Jibrael peace and blessings be upon him. The children who stayed with updated edition (Qur'an) & followed the last prophet without caring much about his clan or land of birth happen to be Musalmeen.. who believed Jesus is the one who will come & awaits for him are Christians. I think English does have the same or any language does. E.g. Date is an eatable item; or the day of the month or year as specified by a number; or social meeting.

@@tipusultan3203 Yes. Its clear you are not getting the metaphor here.. .Quran excuses are absurd. If there is a Quran verse say Muhammad killed the poet on 'Date' 30th of February.. Muslim apologist will say date is fruit so this verse is not wrong , we just dong understand the relation between fruit and number 31. Allah is all wise.... Again. You will not get his apology . let me quote a real verse .... Quran says semen fluid come from between lungs and spinal cord.... After scientific growth we all now know where is comes from now. U know how absurd Muslim apologist explain this. They said u need to look in a different angle in 3 dimensions crap. Another example is Sun going to resting place.. Sun never rests.. But Muslims try to exchange and fit the meaning of resting place... As u said date is a fruit . date can be time.. But whatever arabic alerations to sun resting place you put all are wrong scientifically........ Same thing for moon splitting, mohammrd. Riding on flyong animal (fun fact this exact story is present is zorohostrianism way before Muhammad was born )....

@@___GM___ Mr the first thing is that if u want to understand the Quran. U need to become a believer first. A non believer cannot understand Quran because his heart has no capacity to accept all the orders of the Quran. The Quran is the word of Allah, so it's our need to follow it, and if someone doesn't believe it than Allah will show him. No one can stay forever in this world. We will be back towards our Lord. The believers will be rewarded and the non believers will be punished.

From what i understand, al-hajj(The Pilgrimage) 22:47 and as-sajdah(The Prostration) 32:5 is refering tho this dunia(this world of space and time, and physical law). When the world ends, Allah will resurrect angels, mankind and djinnkind back to life with different world(different world of space and time, and different physical law) thus explain the description in the surah al-Ma'arij(The Ascending Stairways) 70:4. So to summarize two verses are describe for this world of space and time and other one to describe the judgement day of world space and time. 1000 and 50000. Its not the same world. Thus you see mankind scramble together to asked all the previous prophets to start the intercession because of anxiety and stress due to long awaited time. The explaination is in the tafsir. The disbeliever might say its contradiction but the like of you dont believe in judgement day and hereafter anyways. So i dont see the benefit for the questioner except to find fault. Wahllahualam.

Realise that time is a created thing, and Allah is above His creation. Past, present and future, are all the same to Allah. 100% this is true. I have saw what happened before it happened. No, my will did not control when or what I saw, sometimes Allah will show you just who is in control. You all know what good looks like, but it's hard. But the rewards, are worth it. Allah is the goal. If he is your goal, what have you to fear?
