For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
RAHU in TENTH house in birth chart
Whenever you have the North node of the Moon 'Rahu' in the tenth house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is learning how to work hard to realize your dreams.
The North node in the tenth house is often looked at many astrologers as a bad placement in terms of its impact on career, status and promotions, job prospects, business etc. However in reality this is a placement that can bring massive fame, recognition and status to the individual. There's a rider to it however... you have to work for it and you have to work HARD.
The only thing that matters here is how you become conscious of and navigate this energy in terms of discovering and applying your natural skills of managing resources and assets. This is because with the South node 'Ketu' in the 4th house, 'Rahu' in 10th house people are naturally endowed with a good home environment conducive to growing in a slow and steady manner. It is possible that these individuals have naturally supportive parents, a good and comfortable home with all amenities and a natural tendency to create a comfortable space for themselves no matter where they go.
However, as with any 'Ketu' placement, this comfort, satisfaction and happiness is short lived. Sooner or later due to one circumstance or another, they individuals find themselves working hard to create a name and status for themselves in the area of career, work.. their chosen profession.
The perspective here is more on what 'Rahu' placed in the tenth house is trying to show you about your soul's desire in the material plane.
