This Char Kuey Teow (Stir Fried with Kuey Teow type noodle) was created originally by Penang Chinese which the dry version was the first creation. Wet gravy version was has been initially made by Cantonese actually.

In details, Hokkien Char Style (Cara Goreng Etnik Hokkien) is the dry version...Guang Fu Style but not Kongfu (Cara Goreng Ethnik Guang Fu) is the wet version...Chinese differentiate them such ways.
