I have installed an ssd on my ps3 and WOW it does work pretty neatly. No popup at all, now this game looks good on ps3 and it is in 60 frames per second too !

There is no pop up because once it loads those textures into the cache (if it is big enough) it doesn't need to reload them. He is on one room just looking left and right, all those texture are in the cache. Go outside to a new area, it will have to load new textures.

I doubt that the ssd will improve the framerate, but some games installed on the hard drive load faster.

Sweet, i dunno if you have Borderlands 2, but when you first load up the areas it takes a lil longer to load up all the detail, are the loading times and framerate increased? THanks

My other games load a lot quicker with ssd inside the ps3. Like borderlands loads super fast.
