Master vocalist Ustad Rashid Khan performed Raga Lalit as the concluding artiste of the night. The Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana Ustad stood out for the emotive overtones in his melodic elaboration in mandra saptak. According to the Ustad, “The emotional content may be in the alap, or the bandish, or giving expression to the meaning of the lyrics.” This brings a touch of modernity to his style, as compared to the older maestros, who placed greater emphasis on technique and skilful execution of difficult passages.
The Ustad's rendition of vilambit teentaal bandish “Bhor hi aye jogia tum alakh jagao” and drut teentaal bandish “Kahe sautania dekh birmaye” was followed by a tarana performance. His magical taankari, ragdari, mesmerising meend, murki, sargam combination, bakro and sapat taan performance, immaculate gamak, speedy ascending and descending in three octaves, rare fondness of bolbistar and immersing in swar during the performance were outstanding. Pt Subhankar Banerjee embellished the performance on tabla. The maestro ended his performance with a popular thumri “Yaad piya ki aaye”.

A Masterpiece indeed by one of the greatest classical Gayak of the 21st century.
He is one the Artist; so much outstanding that can be counted in fingers. Ustad Rashid Khan Saheb is so ❤ ly in singing Taans; Alasp and comes so much in Natural way of singing in Sargams is very much touching to Heart so much; that one has to feel go back to listen repeatedly his Sargams Unforgettable Artist ! Whichever Raga he sung has become Top Quality Musical Piece! Moreover one listens his Ragad gets more involved in his singing: especially mesmerising Sargam! He❤is with in us! My mind is prepared to believe that he is "No more with us"!!
The power of music has been truly explored by Usthd Rashid Khan, his music echoed in the darkness of night, a sleeping pageant woman been weakened , a baby has was born out of the joy of the music, the night was ended with the emergence of the morning sun to the east.

Last part Amir khan has a unique power showed in raga madhukauns bhimsen joshi has the power but not natural but rahid khan althrough from beginings has tremendous natural power with ease rendition of raga with sheer speed.
