RAF Airbus A400M Atlas x 2 Landing at Birmingham Airport ( BHX )
Ойын-сауық
On Monday the 19th June we captured 2 amazing Airbus A400M Atlas landing one after the other at Birmingham Airport BHX. This was then followed by one taking off and coming back to the airport to perform a spectacular Touch and Go !

Thank you Neil , to see 2 x A400's marching into BHX at the same time was a spectacular sight✈✈👍
That was superb. Never been at the airport at the same time as them. See plenty as we are near by. During the lock downs touch and go exercises were a regular occurrence. Thanks for that 👍👍👍👍👍

Wow. What a sight Kev. I saw one fly over my home, but did not know where it was heading. Fantastic to see one, but 2 must have been something else. Thank you for sharing this wonderful sight.

That is fantastic Aviation_life seeing them soar over your house 👍
Excellent footage showcasing the RAF A400M Atlas which is now the predominant RAF air movements platform as the last of the C-130s are decommissioned (One is on route to Cambridge for decommission as I type 11:00am 21/06/2023). I suspect you will capture more RAF aircraft based out of RAF Brize Norton during the Hot or even mildly warm weather at BHX. The suspected reason why two A400M Atlas aircraft landed at BHX on Monday, along with an Airbus KC2 Voyager (ZZ336) which landed at East Midlands Airport on Monday, is due to the speculated issues regarding the RAF Brize Norton runway (refer to last Summer's press releases). Keep up the good work and hopefully you'll capture more A400M, Voyager's and C-17s for us military aircraft enthusiasts. Note: ZM413 (A400M) has just taken off from BHX at 11:00am on 21/06/23.

Also of note, a A400M and C-17 landed at Heathrow on Saturday 17th after participating in the King's Birthday flypast (they were holding near Brize but had to go elsewhere). Three C130's who also participated in the flypast landed at Cardiff Airport before returning to Brize Norton in the evening whilst the Voyager completed as many circuits as possible before landing.

Looks like one from Birmingham came up to Aberdeen today, 2 landing attempts, but didn’t manage a touchdown. Still watching it on flight radar..

Thanks for the info @jcasey1992 , they are awesome.
There's been three so far. I'm under the flight path. Last one took off yesterday afternoon.
Saw another one today when I was on the M42. Anyone know why they'd be landing at Brum? Taking casualties to the QE maybe?
