Surprising there was not more of these y'day. Maybe the X wind was just strong and consistent and not gusty
Good pilot knowledge
Even the miss was in good control. 5/5
Awesome 😮
Are you live tomorrow? Thursday 6th? I’m landing on LS1230 from FUE at around 2.30pm
Great shot Kev. Think pilot knew he drifted to far
Hi kev and Michelle, still having signal problems 🤯 miss you all ❤
Brilliant catch 👏 👌
Why isn’t the runway even?
It is "relatively" level. The camera lens foreshortening effect makes it look worse than it really is. I'm not sure of exact overall figures, but the total elevation angle is about 0.3 %. Despite what you'd assume, there isn't any real benefits to a complete flat runway. Not enough to justify the huge expenditure anyway. A good pilot can aim for the downside of a shallow "bump" on landing for a soft flair. I read that the bigger problem at Birmingham is the geology. This requires recalibration of the ILS, and it's very open, so the crosswinds can be brutal.
@@andy2950 Thanks man👍🏻
No runway in the world is even, they all follow the contours of the earth beneath them...
Intelligent pilot!
Great capture!
Thanks Sarah 👍
Hello kev new scvcirde r lov watching your channel dave and jue x
Amongst the bouncers and floaters... 2:48:30 Easy Jet TOGA 3:02:00 Easy Jet Second attempt. Successful 👍 TY Kev and Michelle and chat community for another great day of plane spotting 👏
Thank you Leslie for your company and support today , and also those timestamps - brilliant 👍
Der Türke fliegt eigentlich Teppich 😅😊😅😂
Great coverage! I was camped out on the airfield for two days watching. The Dakotas hotloading the 101st AB paras was brilliant! 🇺🇸🇫🇷🇬🇧🪂🪂🪂
Thanks Liberator , it was an awesome event from all involved at Duxford , glad to hear you enjoyed it too 👍
When I saw smoke in my car a lot of years ago, I panic a bit. I imagine what people feel when it happens in an airplane (fire is the BIggest problem in an airplane, nowadays, in my opinion)
787 is my Most favourite aircraft of this Airline, not A350.

Anyone know if Kev is streaming today please? 😊🤔
Hi Ian , unlikely today due to heavy rain 👍
@@AirportAction ok mate thanks I'll crack ln with my latest painting, have a great day see you soon, 👍😊🎨🖼
@@AirportAction ok mate thanks, I'll crack on with my latest painting, have a great day, see you soon, 👍😉🎨🖼
Surely the propellers aren't going around quickly enough?
FPS....
Camera created optical illusion. Similar is seen with helicopter rotor blades and open spoke road vehicle wheels.
It is the camera frame rate that creates the illusion of the props spinning slower than they actually are. 👍
Thanks kev😊 brill filming....
Thank you Helen 👍
We’re do you watch from I’m I’m Birmingham pls
I WAS HERE WHEN IT HAPPENED I WAS WAITING TO BOARD A FLIGHT TO CDG I GOT IT ON CAMERA
He really thinks hes in a 737 😂😂
🤣
Great camerawork!Thank you for streaming this. It was interesting to see the Red Arrows from the side, with them going over you.
Thank you RTB , really pleased to hear you enjoyed the stream , and thank you for tuning in 👍
The twin engine with the Spit and Mustang at 1:56:25 is a Canadian built Bolingbroke Blenheim Mk IV converted to Blenheim Mk1 configuration after being damaged in an accident in 2003
Thank you for the information Phil , we and i'm sure many appreciate you sharing 👍
I think your video was Glitchy I'm sorry to say
A little bit , but it was great for 99.9% of the stream 👍
Kev has not got a £4 grand camera ,he does the job as best as he can with the tools he has not a Fx 6 sony
The phone signals coverage is very sparse on the airfield. Also, no wifi hotspots. He did exceptionally well considering.
I WILL get my parents over to mine (they have no internet at theirs) to watch and thoroughly enjoy, no doubt. 94 and 93 years young. All your Air Show streams greatly appreciated. Thank YOU both
Does any one know if it’s regular thing so we can go watch next week
Was wondering the same thing. It just took off and I must catch this from Sheldon Park next time it is here!
Yes saw it but couldn’t get there tonight will keep checking schedule next week I guess to see
Keep an eye on FR24 or ADSB for any inbound 747 activity Sarah 👍
Worth mentioning is due to the age of this Draken and maintenance cost they are not doing any advance manuevers that could affect the plane.
Great bit of information ESP87 , thank you for letting us know 👍
Arrows just come over Kidderminster/Stourport
Didn't get the chance to say thank you yesterday for this fantastic surprise stream. I am watching it back now and you really did an amazing job Kev - your stamina & staying power is epic ! Thanks also Michelle x
Thank you 8thDay , really great to know you enjoyed this airshow stream 👍 We do like to venture away from BHX from time to time as you know 👍
Was there yesterday, great day. Saw the notification but couldn't get on, signal was not great 😄 beautiful weather to end the day!
Hope you had a great day Lynz , the weather turned out pert for the balloon ascent , the signal around that area was really bad 👍
Great to see the Red Bull DC6 and the B25 flying . I’m really homesick now . Thanks Kev for providing us with such a great review of the airshow .
Thank you David , we are going to be live from more airshows this year , it is amazing seeing these beauties still flying 👍
Are you guys live streaming the Midlands show Sunday?
No Iain , but if you are going have a great day 👍
38:00 Looked like the Jetsons' space car 😄 Thanks Kev and Michelle for sharing / streaming 👍👍
🤣... Thank you so much Leslie , really pleased you enjoyed this stream 👍
Kev thank you for the surprise location today. I know not everybody likes what you do but they are not part of the family. Oh and get some sleep tonight or I'll tell Michelle to get the whip out 😊
I might have to stay up late then Vincent 🤭😂 Thank you for joining us today , for something a bit different , we enjoy the airshows and makes a nice change every now and then 👍
@@AirportAction Think you could do with a little airport action yourself kev. 😆
@@vincentobrien4314 🤣🤣🤣
Jackie this is Ragley Hall
Nice and interesting video due protocol carried out, thanks nothing was wrong at proccedure. The Captain and His F/O did it so well Congratulations.
Thank you , everyone involved as always doing a fantastic job 👍
Thanks for the coverage - preferable to paying 35 quid to stand in a muddy field Red Arrows or not! Just for reference there is a long public footpath to the north of the park and while the hall is not much in view (as I remember it) there should be some good spots to see an air display 🛩 🙂
Thank you Keith , we wrongly assumed the Red Arrows would be the closing act. we now know where to find there flight times. Also thanks for the heads up regarding the public footpath 👍
was that in cosford?
@@warrenpreece-ez8hb MIDLANDS AIR FESIVAL
It was The Midlands Air Festival 👍
ARE YOU GOING TO RIAT
We will be at a few air shows this year , still finalising our schedule 👍
Fire appliances look dull, whats with the blue and white? Bright green or yelllow look so much better at an airport, even red. Theyve painted them like parcel delivey trucks 😂
This was in fact a car comparison road test. Next week, we'll be testing a 'Nissan Micra' vs 777 to see who's fastest 😉
Super filming - thank you
Thank you Rachel 👍
I was on this flight . There was a burning smell which was caused by the air conditioning system so as a precaution the pilot put us and emergency services on notice . Luckily there was no fire and everything went smoothly . What I didn’t understand is why we were kept on the plane after landing a good while longer . Emergency services boarded the plane and checked it out before we were allowed off ! There may be an explanation why this was safer for us but I couldn’t work it out.
Thank you very much for your explanation about the incident! Very glad that you landed safely and unharmed.
I think it's because if there is a fire or a threat of, the crews can get to the source quickly, without waiting for passengers to disembark. Otherwise, the passengers would be in their way, and, if there was a fire or an immenient one, it would spread whilst disembarkation happened.
Maybe because there was no immediate danger and passengers were safer inside the aircraft rather than milling around on the apron?
It's the captain's decision as to whether or not to evacuate the aircraft. Evacuation via the slides can cause minor injuries and there is a further risk of injury when passengers are moving away from the aircraft. In the Asiana accident in the US, two children who had left the aircraft by the slides were run over and killed by emergency vehicles in the chaos. You are actually safer on the plane unless there is an immediate risk to life, such as a fire inside the cabin.
No explanation required. You were being kept safe on a plane that just had to make an emergency landing. The captain etc know what they're doing, that's all you need to know.
What happend?
"Chase me, chase me" 😂
Absolutely what i thought when i watched the clip!! 😂😂
They do that to confim nothing were dropped off from the emergency aircraft and the runway is clear and safe for other Landing aircrafts.
