I just bought the TX16S. I flew from beginning until a week ago with the Taranis X9 Lite, so almost 2 years. I love this Radiomaster product. I love the touch screen. It's a comfortable radio to fly with and it does D8 mode so I can fly my Tinyhawk with it. It's pretty pathetic that an Frsky radio doesn't work with Frsky D8, but a Radiomaster radio does work with the Frsky D8 receivers.

I'm making a reverse polarity circuit and installing it in mine. Glad they finally did that. Cheap toys have reverse polarity protection.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 They probably had to get a bunch of complaints that people accidentally put the batteries in backwards and fried a $200-$300 radio. It's such a simple circuit though.

Realy wish thay made one with 5 in 1 -- like 4-1 +ELRS :) Grate video as allways !

It sure has a lot to offer. I really like the mic and the raised hand grips. I will purchase one when the Captain Drone version is released. 🧐😎 Btw. The Radio Master/ Captain Drone display is nice and would look great in the background

Radiomaster is again here with the new version of Radio Controller! It is a great thing that they are making products frequently! TX16S Mark II looks like a fantastic Radio with all the necessary features! Its Display is pretty visible and big, that is good and also it speaks in a loud voice which is helpful! Its cost is also not so much, starting at 200 dollars! That is an another cool controller of the FPV world!

🎉I just shifted from Spektrum to this 16s mkII and I’ll say this is one nice radio for the price.

Well I had to order the radio for the simple reason that my old Radio Master got brick won't turn . And I got the 4 in 1 . I have the crossfire module and the ELRS module. Thank u for the video.

Im quite new in FPV world, Im gonna get a controler first to start to learn with the simulator, do you recommend me this controller? Im 100% sure I will go deep into this world so I think is worth it to spend an extra to get a good quality controller so I dont need to upgrade in years.

Got mine just last week. It's a pretty nice radio, however they changed the sd card contents. No Bardwell sound tracks came on mine. Ive found them on the web, would have been sweeter if they came installed as an option on the card, but it's still a good deal.

Give rc helicopters a go we need more helicopter pilots and they are easier to fly than they used to be more like a drone especially eflight helis

How does the v4 gimbals compare to the mark I? Would you advise to go for the AG01 or are the plastic ones good enough in the mark II?

Honestly I have about 20 different radios and after awhile you just get used to the gimbals you have. The only reason we change gimbals in the RC Hobby is because we live in a HOT or COLD climate and when you take a radio from one temperature (HOT) to another (COLD) the lower quality gimbals are affected in that they are no longer precise/accurate.

I see this radio can bind with a few Chinese drones, I watched a YT of this radio with a Syma drone, do you think it can bind with the YLR/C S135 Pro? If so I'm getting this in CD Red!

The radio binds with receivers that it is compatible with, so that means whatever drone you are looking at, it is not the drone you should be looking at but rather the type of receiver in the drone.

I would prefer my old ix12 over the radiomaster. As I trust spektrum 2.4 more than self tuning radiomaster which is a bit amateur. Also the software layout of spektrum is far better for me as a helicopter and aeroplane pilot. But I can live with the radiomaster given I can use any reciever for smaller muck around aircraft. Oh also it boots up in seconds not minutes like ix12

@@DimmyV The EACHINE version is made by RADIOMASTER. It is just a slightly lesser version than the original TX16S. If you don't need all the extras then it is a good deal.

More than likely. EMAX usually uses a D8 or D16 receiver.

You may be able to modify it, but you will not receive instructions for your mods. No o e from radio master to date has been able to tell me how to add the color plate to my hall gimbals. So if you do consider adding bling. You may want to wait for their Max version to come in that color. It is a great radio. Well. Made and capable with all 12 of my helicopters.

Funny - this is the third reviewer I've seen tonight on the Mark II --- and on each of the others, I thought to myself "Why is there not a Capt Drone edition, I'd buy that one...."

Out of curiosity will this radio pair up with the Eachine 511x? If not what radio would you recommend for said drone. The controller it came with feels kind of "TOY GRADE" and I'm not impressed with it.

If your drone came with a controller than it is probably a beginner GPS camera drone perhaps. If that is the case, then no controller will connect to it other than the one you received.

@@newamericatowguy3633 You are stuck. You see if you buy an all in one GPS camera drone then you are stuck with what you buy, even if you had spent $5000, it is the same. All in one GPS camera drones are designed for beginners so that they can fly with zero knowledge of technology and how everything works. An RC Hobby radio is made for the advanced people in the RC hobby that fly FPV drones, RC Pro cars, RC pro Helicopters and RC planes, tanks and boats.

the only thing i hate about this RC hobby is how primitive are gear is and how much they sell us 1980 technology . come on its 2022 why can i still not connect my $200 ear buds to my goggles or rc remote lol. when will we get wifi 6. Look at the quest 2 you get 4k screens Bluetooth wifi 6 it comes with 2 controllers and has a snap dragon chip i got video in and out and the cost is $299. good video i will be getting this radio soon it is a good looking transmitter

The boxer is simply a lesser radio than the full featured TX16S. For the Pros in the RC hobby that fly planes, helicopters, FPV drones, drive tanks, large boats/submarines, they all the TX16s. Those who only fly FPV Drones would be happy with the lesser functions and lower price of the Boxer.

Touchscreen can be disabled by assigning a switch to 'NoTouch' either in special or global functions. I have mine tied to my arm switch so will turn off when armed only.

Gee that's great. I can hardly wait! I just missed out on paying AU$1,149.99 plus shipping for an ix12 to lock me into buying cheap-as-chips Spektrum receivers and other gear to replace the Radiomaster TX16S I got for under AU$200 landed when they first came out. I'm sick of having to admit that I own something that can use all manner of receivers - even if that does include Spectrum!

Haha your funny. I live in the good old US of A, not down under like you. So I don't need or cannot afford a Bugatti. I fly helis. And there not cheap. So if you cannot afford it don't bitch about. Get another job. What will you ever do if our governments ban these cheap radios!
