Through playing around with imovie, I discovered how beautiful the Live from the basement version of Videotape by Radiohead is when played in reverse. Enjoy.

I was just thinking the same thing. My native language is somewhat related to Icelandic though, so Sigur Ros' doesn't sound completely fantasy to me. I can actually almost hear some English lyrics in this too, it would be fun to try and write down what you hear, probably different from person to person. But it doesn't have to mean anything, Thom's voice is amazing in itself.

Thumbs up man! Awesome attempt. They say people can "hear what they want" with backwards speech.... But what you want to hear is fucking beautiful. I particularly like the "Niece is covered in worms" line. Which at first glance you might think is silly until you think of it like she's dead and buried and the singer is destroyed with grief at how ridiculous it is, messing with his happy memories of her.

Listen to the early live version of this from Bonnaroo in 2006 - kzread.info/dash/bejne/opiZlNJmXdTdpdY.html. In it you will hear Jonny guitar sounds just like the melody created by the reversed piano that you hear on this between 2:09 - 2:45
I hope there's no record of how many times you've listened to a certain rewound videotape... it might be as embarrassing as that vhs porno that was all warn-out it that particular place.
Yup, that's it. When a singer, song writer, music genius sounds just as beautiful backwards as forward. And see ... Thom is an alien. :)
wow this sound interesting to my ears
It's what he wants...
2:53 *LET’S SMOKE WEED AT HOME*
This song it amazing forwards. So Its going to sound amazing even if its going backwards, left or right.
This is the definitive version of Videotape.
sensacional!
Dat stratch
you are my friend now.
i am probably not educated or auditory enough to cherish this LOL
All I have for you is a word: Tenet. It'll open the right doors and some of the wrong ones too. Use it carefully.
i really want to hear what the studio version of videotape would sound like. if you put that version up i would be mighty thankful
It is weird, I like it! 🤓📻🏴☠️🏴☠️ Palindrome songs are cool
I prefer !
at some point it seems like he sings "there is more to this, please don't leave"
Didn’t realise thom was fluent in Icelandic!… Prefer this version They Should of used this version on In rainbows Masterpiece 😮
yes this is gorgeous. also anyone else think he looks like vincent van gogh under this filter?
