you need to look at them from the late sixties, the stuff they were doing was really interesting and did pave the way for many bands, including radiohead

Considering they were working on OK Computer at the time, it's likely they wrote the new best song ever written each month.

One way to know how good they are is to remove the idea or name of "Radiohead" from your mind and imagine any other band, big or small making that kind of music. They're just on another realm.
