CarSeat Headrest has that potential. Bands don’t get supported anymore; the industry gives all its time quite literally *grooming* young individuals for pop stardom like Disney did with its TV kids. A monstrous gatekept corporate formula with fragile egos, data and shareholders who would never yield to the personalities and artistry of bands, singer/songwriters, or even pop pioneers. The rise of the managerial class, data, trite nostalgia, and looping congealing dehydrated bland ignorance. Can you imagine puffed up executives and producers putting up with musicians, techs, writers, and artistic directors who came up from streets, trailers, bungalows, suburban pre-fabs, apartments and garages, making music that tells the current institutions of power they’re the problem with everything? Someone would call the manager. So now they just book their friends’ perfectly beautiful wealthy kids. Who’ve been afforded the exorbitantly costly tools, instruments, copyrights, and software, who’ve learned at university how to copy art, and are able to intern for free. . Because it costs too much now to survive to leave any time or pennies left to pursue your gifts organically, and it wouldn’t matter anyway because there aren’t any clubs or platforms for youth to express themselves, absent of invasive and constant institutional observation.

So weird. In my head this is still what they look like. I have such a hard time reconciling Thom's current look with this, to me this was yesterday! ^^; But it doesn't matter, you can tell he's still exactly the same adorable guy. Poor Thommy, he really is one of the few truly good-hearted people out there.
cute thom! look at his outfit huehuehuehue
When the guy said “hook up with the band” at 0:29, I really regret taking that expression to always mean just meeting up and talking. I’ve embarrassed myself so many times asking people to hook up with me smh

I'd love early Radiohead to hear 'Kid A' and see what they thought.
Maybe these guys can transcend Creep, but their 3rd album would have to be really fucking special. I'm talking about an album that will top best albums of all time lists a year after it comes out. An album that people will still be talking about decades from now. Can the band that wrote Creep do that?

2:58 It's funny, I feel like in today's oversaturated climate of pretentious indie band names 'On a Friday' would fit right in xD
The thing is though is that if it wasnt for Creep we never would of had the incredible discography they released after.
Who would of thought back then their next album would be one of the best ever made
Thom before the press hounded him to death with stupid repetitive questions....lovely friendly chap
Thom is so cute :)

Wow! They were really young!!!
thom yorke was alone in the world
ol Toby! That actually brings on more nostalgia than seeing young Radiohead. (Probably because I've continued to watch Radiohead things for the past 20 years, but haven't seen his little mug in quite some time.

I love all these guys. hahah. What was Jonny trying to say at the end when he was cut off?
It makes me so sad that so many people only associate radiohead with creep. I have to break out my rabid radiohead fan mode to educate them 😂😂
mentally, im stuck here (born in 2001 btw)
thom's colorado shirt! represent
I LOVE THOM YORKE!
Imagine having that in your conscious calling Radiohead “one hit wonders” God no wonder they hate that song so much, must have been so annoying having to deal with that type of criticisms.
Ohhhh que jovenes se ven aquí..... Increible.. Interesante entrevista 😳😳🐻❤️
THOM! THOM! THOM! Gorgeous, sexy, talented, PERFECT! He is so freaking attractive, I can't stand it! His smile! And his little laugh when he's talking about changing their name to Radiohead. I MUST meet him! I simply MUST! His genius is unparalleled...except maybe by Jonny's guitar playing.....

yeah, the other version "used" to be one of the few RH interviews on here. it's so sad that i know all this, lol.
This is when Radiohead became the best British band, from The Bends onwards.
If creep in 4th album mybe some will late recognize them. Everything happens for a reason. Some people try to dig out their fav band previous album after listen a hit song in the 3rd or 4th album. It happened to me as well.
PHIL STILL HAS HAIR LOL
Omg his outfit💞
RADIOHEAD HAD TO PROVE THEY'RE NOT A ONE SONG BAND i'm---
In Vancouver British Colombia Canada
yaaaahhhh Vancouver baby
The striking video Of Fake Plastic trees looks like it was made for the american market" Anyone else found this sentence kinda funny? ^-^
The only thing radiohead regret doing is not encoring with Toby Anstis!
i'm glad they think Vancouver is beautiful. i'm not from Vancouver but I'm from Vancouver Island and since Vancouver is represents B.C. the best, i feel a connection to it. yes i know that Victoria is our capitol, but fuck it, i think Vancouver is much nicer.
What, the interviewer is wearing sunglasses..? Ok..

Lol "a one song band" so weird to hear
How tall is Johnny? He looks rlly short here beside Ed.. Update: Woah I didn’t realize Ed was 6’ 5”, that must be why Johnny looks so short their.
