    Loved Paul from the very first moment I ever laid eyes on him when I was kid on the Ed Sullivan show on Feb. 9, 1964. I was only 8 years old... Now it is 55+ years later and I still am enamored by him, more than ever. What an amazing man, still so handsome, enormously talented yet so humble...... If you have never seen one of Paul's concerts, do yourself a favor. Go and experience one of the world's rock and roll legends before he stops touring.

So one Mother’s Day my kids got me two tickets to see him. I took my friend Cass and we both felt like teenagers again. Then two years later my son Eric got me two tickets to see Paul and again my friend Cass and I went like two teenagers. He’s so darn good and gives you your money worth. I have loved him since I was nine years old and I’m 69 now. He gets better with age. Love you Paul ❤❤❤❤

  • @designerlarry

    @designerlarry

    5 жыл бұрын

    Welhy Nole I think anyone in Paul's presence would be nervous even though he's interviewed him several times before- but maybe not. Howard's interviewed many of the A list so there shouldn't be any apprehension. He did later state that, regarding his top interview per his new book Howard Stern Comes Again, that there was something about their interview that maybe he felt it was forced. I guess the best way to understand that is hearjng him interview Conan.

    Jesus knockin' at the door, Jesus is ringin' the bell, do yeself a favor open the door and let'im in. yeah yeah, let'im in. Peace and Love my fellow Beatle's fanatics. I just recently got up the nerve to text my first comment, and of course it was Beatle's related. I've been just overjoyed reading all of your thoughts and memories about the greatest four young lads and band on the planet. I'm old school and was not a fan of technology. I only started texting 3 yrs ago when an old band mate texted me one night, and we started getting together, reminiscing about the 70's and especially The Beatle's and his younger brother who died in 2011. He was only 56 same age as me. Then he died last year on his birthday at 70. Any way what a wonderful and Magical Mistery Life it's been. We've been truely blessed.

    The most important thing I wanted to tell all of you, there's a new book out by Pastor Gregg Laurie entitled - Lennon - Dylan - Alice and JESUS POPPED UP the other night snatched my attention went and purchased it next morning, Y'all go get it I can't tell you on here it's about to go out on me again. Any way, I am convinced that according to his own words John called on Jesus for help sometime in 1977 3years before he died. I can't tell you the relief God has given me after all these years thinking he might have went in the wrong direction.But God is sooooh merciful. God knew what was ahead for John. Paul may be a believer already, I don't know and that's what makes it so hard for us as fans to not know when they do pass on from us, just like uor family's and friends. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, go get that book and read the good news. Wouldn't it be hard to imagine Heaven with no Beatles? Pray for Paul and Ringo,thie wife's and children, and everyone everywhere.

    John's solo stuff (besides a few here and there, like "Imagine" and "Jealous Guy" are brilliant IMO) was mostly too avant garde without Paul's commercial sense, and Paul's solo stuff (again, some gems here and there) were kind of flat without John's original mind in there.

    No Paul was fine without John. Yes it would have been better for them to combine their minds but Paul was great by himself. RAM, Band on the Run, Flaming Pie, and Chaos and Creation are all great albums from beginning to end. After that he has many albums that are a rung or two beneath that level. I would say that is way more than just "some gems here and there". Also John's solo stuff wasn't avant-garde at all.

    Nah, a lot of their 70s albums are better than half of The Beatles stuff. I don't think you've actually listened to full albums because you would know most of John's stuff wasn't avant garde and Paul had plenty of rockers.

    The band members complemented each other so well. They would add their own little nuances and touches to the compositions and make them truly stick out. John, Paul and George are some of the all-time great musicians, but it's no coincidence that none of their solo albums ever reached the same heights as any of the Beatles albums (except for All Things Must Pass).
