how do i fix my audio, I changed the 20amp fuse in my Passat SEL radio and it finally turned on after a year. The bluetooth connects and touchscreen functions perfectly but i can’t get any audio.

You might have a bad radio. Or if the car has an external amplifier it could be that too.

Our adapters allow you to answer and pick up from the steering wheel. Unfortunatly Aftermarket radios do not have the ability to output caller information,.

I have a 2012 passat with the RNS-315 navigation system. My problem is that it flashes all the time and even goes black for a bit. The backlight is always on, but sometime the picture won't display. Any ideas on why this is happening? Loose or faulty wire? Thanks!

Apparently the screen just goes. I hear about it every once in a while. They go for $800 used so at that price I would just get a new radio.

Hi thank you for the helpful video. The wire harness I got doesn’t have a red or an orange wire. Would that be okay for a 2014 Volkswagen Passat??

Hello ..... Great video thanks but can u explain to me what u did exactly whit the cables ( that contain butt connectors ) I'm a little confused !

I have a 2013 that I am installing a lineout convertor for a subwoofer. I tried splicing in the power supply (one of the two red/yellow) and brown (ground) but I get nothing. Do you know which ones are power and ground i should connect too? Im using lp7-2

Sounds like you have the right wires. I usually use this kicker one because its doesn't require power. shop.enfigcarstereo.com/product/kicker-46kisloc2/

I have a 2016 Volkswagen Passat and my screen is super glitchy and half of it even goes dark. What do you recommend I do? The touchscreen still works it is just the glitchy and darkness that occurs.

I have an 2014 VW Passat SEL premium 3.6 L My radio only loads the home screen VW symbol for a long period of time “Weeks at a time “ then the radio will work one day all the functions work from touch screen to Bluetooth, and I have the software version update SW-5374 .. what could be the issue with the radio ?

I"m pretty sure the hard drive has gone bad. The radio needs to be replaced or reap aired.

Usually the car remembers its own radio.

are the passat oem stereos coded?

Were you able to get the instrument cluster, backup camera, bluetooth connectivity and MDI port fully functional with it as well?

The BU camera is possible but I haven't had anyone want to pay to get that done. Instrument cluster display is not possible. The factory bluetooth can be integrated but it would be a difficult for no reason task especially since most radios show caller info on the screen. There is no need for the MDI port since most radios have that built in.

I own a 2012 Jetta SE 2.5L and I want to install the Pioneer AVIC-X930BT. What wiring harnesses and Can-bus reader do I need. I also want to preserve my steering wheel controls. How may I do it and where can I buy all the required wiring adapters and harnesses from? Thanks

All the non navigation OEM radios use the same wiring. Unless you have Fender or Dynaudio.

You just have to go into the airbag airbags and clear the code. I don't have a video but tis very easy.

Does the radio retain bluetooth functionality, and can you program the wheel buttons to navigate tracks on a phone playing audio through BT? Your set-up looks good.

Our SRWH-VW07-M retains the BT but when you use car play or android auto you cannt use the factory BT and must have an aftermarket mic installed into the pioneer radio.

I'm trying to replace the stereo in a golf tdi is the cabling that same or is it different. we heard that the stereo has a code what do we have to do to not have any problems with replacing it??

Unless you have the factory GPS radio the rest of the radios do not have a BU camera input. You must replace the radio. But we do have the camera.

The head unit of my 2017 Passat keeps restarting non-stop. The OEM is $1200 without labor. Are there any compatible cheaper units? I need to use the back-up camera, and radio and connect my phone using Android Auto.

We have a package for about $720 using the Sony XAV-AX5500. Keeps the camera but not fender. We also have a package that keeps fender but tis more money.

Are you able to use voice command also? Did you need another harness / part to enable it?

How does the reverse camera part work do you have to run a seperate signal wire to the camera or no?

We have the harness to keep the camera but we haven't installed it on enough cars to sell it on our site.

Yes but probably a different antenna adapter. Look at JVC for quality low priced radios.

Can you tell me if I can connect skoda fabia with can bus, I have it but it dont show car information, i dont know if it is possible, radio is chinese blaupunkt, like rns 510, and it has can bus

I went to stereo sales and they said I wouldn't be able to install a newer radio "pioneer" for an example, they said I'd need an extra wire and etc for the cost of about $180?! They said it doesn't have a wiring harness or something like that. I need help.

Our SRWH-VW07-M is made using the maestro adapter. That shows the info in the cluster but not all radio support the feature.

The only way to add a backup camera to a radio that does not have navigation is by opening the factory radio and putting in a circuit board. I can install that but I cannot sell that online.

I want to instal an Line output converter but i cant find the wiring diagram for my 2012 passat se.... anyone know where i can find it?
