Awesome, thanks for the video. Just what I was looking for. I have a 2013 VW CC with its factory setup (without nav). Couple of weeks ago the screen just blacked out completely. Sat/radio still work, but Bluetooth completely shot. I've ordered a replacement from eBay from a same year car, only difference being the replacement unit has nav/gps. I'm hoping I'll just be able to plug and play here, but there's probably not an existing nav/gps antenna, wouldn't you think? Are those easy to install or should I take it to a shop?

VW's usually do not have a GPS antenna on the rood unless there the car came with GPS. You might also need to code it to see the GPS info on the cluster. If you cant do that then you should take it to a shop.

Christian Thanks for the video, Ordered everything and it should arrive to me tomorrow 10/30. Pioneer as well. Looks like the entire install will take 2-3 Hours? Is there anything that has changed or you had to go back and swap after this video was made? Its been 18 months since video.

Hey, my dad is trying to change the factory radio on a 2006 vw passat that has dynaudio and I was wondering which radio you would recommend. We want to make sure the radio is compatible with the dynaudio system

We have a special harness that is not on the site for a 2006-2009 Passat with Dynaudio.

Nice video! I have a 2006 WV Passat B6 with Dynaudio, do you know any android radio that works with it? I'm thinking to install the Pioneer AVH-210 but I dont know if it's going to work. Thanks.

Hey I have a 2014 Jetta sel and I just recently bought and rcd330, and I was wondering how I can make this head unit work with my factory backup camera, they gave me an Av camera adapter but there is no where I can see to plug it into

I assume you purchased on of those OEM look carplay units? I'm not sure if those are really OEM. If the radio has an RCA input then htis is what you need. (this is not for a CC) enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_KBUC_VW07.html

i mean the old unit you pulled out.. can that go right into another vw cc and work.. if the other vw cc had a radio that had sirus radio but not navigation? sorry for any confusion,.. i know you would probably know .

I'm not really sure. I know I have heard of OEM swaps killing batteries but I know very little about that since most people DIY OEM swaps and don't need anything from us.

I have a 2010 VW CC Executive that has an RNS-510 in it and the Dynaudio sound system. I am in the market currently for a replacement for the RNS 510. What are some units that you would recommend? I would like to keep the factory back up camera, and use the factory sirius tuner. Could you link me to the products that you have that would be compatible with my car? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

My current radio recommendations are the Sony XAV-AX5000 and the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX.

Man, what did I sign myself up for - lol. Great video though .. I have the same backup cam connector and have been looking for guides with the same - first one I've found. Wish me luck...

We do but we recommend you stay way from Generic android radios.

Yes the only difference is that radios without the navigation radio do not have the OEM navigation antenna so you have to use the one that comes with the new radio.

was this installed on a car with the factor fender system ?

Dynaudio but both will need a special harness with the digital turn on.

Hi there, I have a mk6 Gti with dyna audio. I have plugged in the rcd330. It gets power but no sound from the speakers.... do I need some other cables or something ? Do you have a kit?

If you purchased on of those Chinese maybe OEM radios I see it all the time. Usually it has 2003 Vw can bus signal. If you are local may have adapters for you. But I cannot ship because those radios are all different.

I installed a rcd330 in my 2015 Tiguan and the backup camera doesn’t work, is there an adapter for the factory camera?

I have a Passat b8 2015 with dynaudio sound system. What I want to do is to install an aftermarket sound system and to cancel the dynaudio keeping the same factory stereo and having audio signal which goes into a dsp .

Hi Christian, my 2010 cc vr6 factory radio is stuck in a loop ; turns on but doesn't come on it's like its stuck resetting itself, do you recommend getting a new system or is there a particular issue that can be fixed for it to work again,

That sounds like the hard drive of the radio. The problem is that if you fix it something else could break. You can get a new radio with a bigger screen and more features for under $1000.

That needs troubleshooting. Most likely radio or amp.

Yes all the same parts.

i think maestro required connect analog signals between maestro and radio because both radio and maestro are universal and already have to have analog signal why not it easy to connect two wires together

I recommend to follow what the installation instructions say after programming. It has changed throughout the years.

@@Enfig my thoughts that some signal are communicating using 1 wire per 1 signal instead of canbus is possible and connected wire by following instructions said .i recommend to follow instructions instead of imagine. and i see worst installation because not reading instructions

What brand stereo did you buy for the cc

you make 2 mistakes 1 you should connect horness to radio before connecting the maestro idatalink Rr box but you connect antenna main horness and siriusxm it all correctly but later you make 2 mistakes 2 you shouldn’t connect stringweel controls between pioneer radio and maestro idatalink Rr box because string wheel control it done by data 4 pins and you might have problems with communication between radio and maestro idatalink rr box 2 mistakes are in maestro installation instructions and if you connect everything in pioneer horness to main horness before connect to pioneer radio , it easier than start connect pioneer horness to pioneer radio before connect to main horness

Connecting to radio before maestros is not incorrect. I always connect the radio last so I can organize where I'm putting the modules first. This is an older video from before Maestro said not to connect the SWCL in their instructions. I did it for many years with no problems. You can't say that the order I connect thing is a mistake just because you would do it differently lol
