Thanks for the detailed description. I have an identical device from Junsun and I didn't manage to get the PDC (Parking Distance Control) to be displayed visually. The climate control is also not shown in the display. Everything else works via Canbus, for example the steering wheel controls. By the way, I own the same car, Passat B6 year of manufacture 2008. Does the visual display of the PDC work for you?

Hello. The model you see in the clip has a Quad Core processor, 1Gb of ram memory. I recommend models with at least 2Gb ram, it is ideal to use Android unit with octacore processor and 4Gb ram.

This is a very informative and useful video, thanks for uploading. If you still have the car and the same unit in it, how has it performed since installation - does it still work well or have there been any problems? I'm very tempted to get one particularly as it's quite cheap compared to a used, original type of unit from eBay. Thanks again.

@@AdrianDragan So I found out that it is not necessary to connect the camera to the reversing light, but just switch one of those yellow cables and then 12V will go into it after the reverse speed is engaged.

How did you fixe the power with key? In my car the media is still open when i take the key out :(

Heya thank you for the video. I installed mine today, it works fine. But it seems to be in sleep mode all the time after I power it off. I mean even when I take the keys out the screen stays slightly lit up and shows the date/time, instead of powering off fully. So I'm worried its draining the battery. Any ideas why this is? hello. thankyou for the great video. i have installed an aftermarket radio on my 08 passat in the past and it caused the car to act crazy. the transmission would be stuck in 5th gear. the unit would need to be reset as it would fail to power on. the bluetooth connectivity would be intermitent. i called the dealership and they said that the car goes in to limp mode like this when it detects a foreign device. Did you have these problems? Are they avoidable?

Hello. This is the first time I have heard of such an issue from an Android device, but this cause is not ruled out. I think something is not working well, maybe canbus decoder of Android tablet. But if you disconnect the Android drive, does the car work well?

Salut, Din ce am observat la Octavia 2 ar fi vreo doua tipuri de radiouri cu dimensiuni diferite. Masoara dimensiubea ramei in care se incadreaza si compara cu dimensiunile ce le dau vanzatorii, majoritatea au trecute si aceste dimensiuni in anunturile lor. Exista undeva prin menu o setare in care iti dai sau nu acceptul sa ruleze clipuri (youtube, player video, etc) in timp ce masina se afla in deplasare. Daca nu-ti dai acceptul se va stinge doar imaginea de pe ecran dar sunetul va functiona in continuare, cel putin asa se intampla pe aplicatia de youtube si este util atunci cand asculti muzica.

Salut! Pana acum nu am montat astfel de navigatie pe modelele cu self parking asa ca nu pot spune o parere clara. Cel mai bine ar fi sa intrebi vanzatorii de la care vrei sa cumperi. Probabil modelele mai scumpe au aceasta compatibilitate.

Salutare! Daca-mi amintesc bine cablurile USB le-am tras prin partea superioara torpedoului si apoi au fost trecute prin bord, oricum spatiul pentru a trage cablurile era foarte limitat.

Hello. I’ve installed the radio just as shown, it works perfect, only turns on with keys in the ignition so it’s great, but it never shows the logo and the startup when i start the car it just pops up to the bluetooth app or the radio i had set before turning the car off so it seems like it wasnt even turned off(even though it was).. like a computer when u turn it off it always shows the startup windows logo but here in this case it just pops up to where i left off.. can i fix this? i would appreciate any help and i hope you guys understand what i mean.

Hello. Yes, I understand what you mean. If I remember correctly, there is an option in the settings menu, an option "start with the last application" or something similar. I hope you manage to find that option.

Salut. Am cumparat un vw passat b6 ce avea instalata o interfata multimedia asemanatoare. Problema este ca la drum lung dintr-o data i se ia curentul si se restarteaza.. face asa de vreo 5-6 ori dupa care isi revine. Problema e ca ciclurile astea de restartari apar din ce in ce mai des. Salutare. Tind sa cred ca se supraincalzeste și se restartează, ori poate fi o lipitura slaba undeva pe placa electronica și la dilatarea provocata de caldura contactul de acolo devine imperfect. O alta varianta ar fi sa verifici daca sunt bine conectate toate mufele din spatele unitatii.

antena GPS se poate monra in interiorul bordului sau chiar pe spatele navigatiei evitand astfel aspectul neplacut

Este adevarat dar e posibil sa ai o ecranare a semnalului gps, adica o pierdere de semnal.

Salut, pentru a folosi functia bluetooth este nevoie de acel modul bluetooth ce se pune bord special pt Passat? Am acel suport pe bord si as vrea sa scap de el

Salut! Unitatea Android are modul bluetooth incorporat, deci poti scoate linistit acel suport.

Salutare, frumos review-ul tau , felicitari pt asta. O intrebare acea antena ramasa, nu ai pus adaptor fakra daca bine am vazut, e antena AM? tu ai conectat doar FM? in localitate si in afara merge radio ?

Salut. Radioul merge bine in localitate, in afara nu stiu sa-ti spun deoarece nu este masina mea iar proprietarul nu s-a plans despre astfel de probleme. Am conectat doar o singura antena deoarece in pachet am primit un adaptor simplu. Nu stiu daca cele doua cabluri de antena sunt diferentiate pe AM si FM, mai repede as spune ca radioul original avea doua tunnere.

Da, cu siguranță a comandat din China. Ce comanzi din China si depaseste 10$ vine direct la oficiul postal cu verificare vamala.

Salut. Eu nu am avut aceasta problema. Am inteles ca ar trebui facut un update la un modul al masinii dar nu stiu sa-ti spun exact despre ce este vorba.

Salut! Am un model asemanator , însă la oprirea motorului și îndepărtarea cheii din contact sistemul nu se oprește, consuma bateria , ai idee cum aș putea rezolva problema ?

Hello. Yes, it will work. But I recommend a Multuimedia with at least 2Gb RAM memory, ideally it would be an Octa Core and 4Gb RAM memory. See in the links in the clip description.

Salutare! Unele modele au optiunea de a anula trecerea pe imaginea camerei de mers inapoi, altele nu au aceasta optiune. Din pacate nu stiu sa-ti spun cum ai putea sa dezactivezi, dar cred ca ar fi o idee buna sa-l intrebi pe vanzatorul de la care ai cumparat unitatea.

Try to buy something with at least 2Gb of RAM. - "What is the DSP?" - DSP = digital signal processing and this should improve your audio quality a lot. - "AHN" - I do not know what are you talking about :)

@@thecoponbendito1 Hello. Any Android unit made for your car comes with a canbus decoder, it must be connected to the power cables for the steering wheel controls to work and for the Android unit to receive data about the car (open doors, trip computer, etc.).

Salutare. Versiunile ieftine (cu procesor Quad Core) nu vin cu suport pentru internet prin cartela SIM dar poti conecta modem pe USB. Modelele mai scumpe cu procesor Octa Core vin direct cu suport de SIM pentru Internet.

Salut, Adrian! Ce imi poti spune de calitatea convorbirilor telefonice prin aceasta navigatie? As dori sa instalez o astfel de navigatie pe un Golf, insa mi-e teama ca, calitatea audio a apelurilor telefonice nu este buna, in special a microfonului, ceea ce ar duce intr-un final la preluarea apelului pe telefon.

Salutare. Daca se instaleaza un microfon extern calitatea convorbirilor va fi una buna, daca te bazezi pe microfonul integrat atunci interlocutorii te vor auzi foarte slab.

Salut. Este un cablu care are doua mufe ce se conecteaza, se pare ca trebuie lasat deconectat pentru a nu descarca bateria, cel putin asa se intampla la modelele mai vechi. Vezi explicatiile din acst clip: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKyox8yzkcfWdqw.html

Buna Ziua. Am o intrebare, despre un DVD NAVI cu CAN BUS, de pe Wv Touran. Cum as putea utiliza unitatea in afara masinii, fara conexiunea CAN. Specific ca mufa ISO, are 2 fire verzi de la CAN care cred ca merg la ECU, dar in afara masinii... ce as putea conecta pentru ca functiile de baza ale DVD-ului sa functioneze ? Primeste curent, se aprinde butonul SRC, dar in 5 secunde se stinge...Functioneaza acest aparat si fara ECU masinii ? Multumesc!

Salut. Unele aparate functioneaza fara a fi conectate la Canbus, altele nu. Din pacate nu stiu sa-ti spun cum ai putea sa folosesti o astfel de unitate fara a fi conectata si la canbus-ul masinii.

navigatia este model vechi ( de aici si pretul de 350 de lei )...acum toate vin cu modul canbus intern, si cu mufa usb integrat...referitor la cabluri nu ai fost foarte precis...cablu acela usb patratos este de fapt DVR IN !

Salut, Nu este un model vechi ci este unul gandit sa fie ieftin. E un model universal caruia i se poate scghimba rama, ecranul, decodorul CanBus si se va potrivi multor alte masini ce nu apartin grupului VAG. Deci, productie mare costuri mai mici. Pe de alta parte componentele hardware nu sunt cele mai performante, asa ca au un pret scazut. Exista si modele cu hardware performant dar pretul este de cel putin doua ori mai mare. Daca te referi la cablul de la minutul 3:12 acela se conecteaza la unitatea Android si la cablurile ce duc la diferite prize USB ce vin din dotarea diferitor modele de masini.

A montat cineva aceasta unitate pe Skoda Octavia 2 Face lift din 2009? Sunt curios daca se potrivește bine

Salut. Pe Octavia 2 exista doua tipuri de rame, oricare ar fi pe masina ta daca cumperi unitatea potrivita sigur se va aseza foarte bine. Daca vrei trimite-mi o poza cu actualul radio de pe masina ta, intr-un mesaj pe pagina facebook.com/psadiyrepairs si pot sa-ti las acolo o recomandare pentru o navigatie potrivita.

Salut! Am comandat acum 4 zile navigația, și am uitat un lucru. Are bluetooth? Sa o pot conecta cu telefonul? Eram asa de entuziasmat încât am uitat sa vad dacă are și Bluetooth :)). Mulțumesc anticipat ✌️
