Jesus actually sent heretics away...and did not try to 'convert' them. If you resisted him at all, he would generally correct you for the sake of his followers, and then move on.

This is almost as irritating as watching some parents i know seeking approval from their children on how the family is governed.

This document sounds like a speech that you would hear come from a Miss America contestant😅 it makes about as much sense.

Endless empty talk, that sounds like a plan for some kind of secular bureaucracy. Salvation seems to be the last thing on their minds.

The Church has been through many, many storms and survived some horrible popes and times. We can trust that Jesus can calm the storm when He chooses. It is important that errors are called out, but prayers for all must continue. I would love a series that covers the Popes throughout time and how the Church and Her teachings remained inviolate in spite of these bad popes. I have been reading the Malachi Martin’s The Decline and Fall of the Roman Church which outlines the popes throughout the ages. I knew bits of the best and worst, and he may have ‘literature-ed it up ‘ a bit, but it does cover behaviors that are incomprehensible by today’s standards. It covers how the original papal succession was handled and described just how horrible the beginning of the papal conclave was….how the Church is governed and what it teaches seems sometimes to be completely bipolar. Disgusting and vile popes have decreed things they said could never be changed, usually around Church governance, only to be immediately ignored the day they died. So far my conclusion is, as with the reading of Church history, the often clown and scoundrel show of the people running the Church could NEVER have survived without some Divine Remit that has kept it rising from the ashes over and over again. Be grateful we live in these times, God tests us in crisis and ‘Be not afraid!’

So according to their interpretation of The Synod and its content, everything is on the table even subjects that are in opposition to Churh Doctrine and the Gospels. Their interpretation of The Synod by the way, is as clear as mud. What a pack of fools that can't even explain what they are trying to say. Just don't listen to such trivial nonsense!

I attended two synods in my diocese, both were novis ordo churches, they both had the same issue, no father Martin types in the church or priesthood, keep the Latin mass and add Latin to the novis ordo.

After going to Catholic school grades 1-8. I read an old catechism book. Religion -Doctrine and Practice - Cassilly - A Chicago Jesuit, high school catechism book from the 1930s. It's like we were taught nothing in school, even though, what I was taught in school was mostly orthodox in comparison to what many others get in their liberal Catholic schools. Even the good catechism books do not prepare us properly for the devils attack on the Church with modernism these days. The catechism books do not teach us about the 3 levels of doctrine in the magisterium. The catechism books teach us the only time we can be disobedient to a religious superiors is if they order us to sin. Historical precedent says we can withdraw obedience when prelates fail to condemn error and/or teach error in matters of faith and morals. The Church is really a system of morality with creeds, doctrines, and dogma, more so then a system of authority. That is, morality supersedes authority, authority does not supersede morality.

The synode is an outrageous mistake . It will take 15-20 years for the church (that remains) to see how bad it really is. Yes they declare it is infallible. But it is not. It will cause much damage to the church . The traditional Catholics, not the hierarchy, will same the church.

Before the Paschal Mystery, our Blessed Mother believed and lived the Faith that was handed down from her ancestors, despite being amongst those who did not accept the Truth. The Church does not teach relativism, even though those who lack the Holy Spirit do. Keep the Faith!
