Watching this makes me wonder how and why stuff like BeyBlade and Bakugan made it to the west in the first place while all others failed. I've never heard of B Daman but it seems there was a marketing attempt in the US at least? (Can't unsee B Daman as Gundam SDs)

The Western Distributor for the Crossfight B-Daman Series did the Toys dirty, us in other regions of Asia got the standard JP Release but without the Arcade Barcode

A lot of it is licensing, right? Like Beyblade's merch is done by Takara Tomy in Asia, but Hasbro in the US, so probably they passed on it because they didn't think it'd sell.

i miss my B-daman and all the 80-90 toys collection .... ah i miss that days ....

I have seen B-Daman when i was a kid like around 11 to 8 years ago but at that time it's already considered old and not many people plays it anymore (in Indonesia), so I guess Ao-kun is around my generation or slightly older than me with how it originates from Japan and B-daman came to Indonesia later. And I didn't even know they are called B-daman lol, I thought it was a type of gunpla that you can shoot marble with lmao.

Ah B-daman and Beyblade..I missed those times👴 I'm regretting that I've sold all of my Beyblades and B-daman 🥲
