Amazing work Ethan! I cannot believe how you edited together the raw footage I saw you shoot (in Boulder training, race day etc.). You really crafted a nice story, added some cool graphics/music, and cut it all together super well. It was great seeing you out there - and even though I didn't have the day I wanted, I have this wonderful memory of my first 100-mile finish to see on the web. Thanks for sharing this journey and for filming me!

7:35. Best part. In a bad spot in the race but was very nice and shook hands with a stranger and was pleased to meet him. He totally could have written the guy off

editing is on POINT! :)

Lessons I learned: Shirts are for wimps. Drink lots of sprite. "A hundred miles is pretty far" And never give up.

cool vid. i just attempted my first 100 miler in June. made it 82 miles before i had to call it quits. can't wait to get back out there and try again!

Sage & GR together! Great stuff, my two favourite running channels. You are both an inspiration to an old fart trying to run after 30 odd years of laziness. Sage - after 100 miles you look like me after a 10k!

New film editing style. Sage is so awesome. So great to see that he finished and really got a sense of his struggle in the race. GO SAGE!!! And so great he has so many friends and loved ones who support him!!!!

Unbelievable to me that Ginger Runner has not released this incredible soundtrack yet. Would buy it in a heartbeat.

I know this comment comes quite late, but I just want to say that it was an excellent video on many levels! Ethan (The Ginger Runner) definitely did an exemplary job with all the raw footage, the editing, and the music -- it is so amazing how he captures the entire experience of 100 miles in only 12 minutes or so! I also love the footage of your parents and Sandi showing such dedicated support. But what I also really appreciate is your willingness to put yourself out there, to be vulnerable and show your struggles, when many athletes often rather want to showcase their successes. Your videos, whether they are about the 5k or ultras, are such an inspiration! Thanks so much and keep it up!

Love, love, love the editing! The squiggly lines are fun and unique. The bit at the beginning with that gorgeous view and Sage gradually coming into view was fantastic. 100 miles is an incredible feat! I can't imagine doing that distance but watching your videos encourages me to go out and do what I can!

Ginger just keeps getting better and reinventing himself!!! Top notch production brother, and props to you Sage for battling. I've blown up on Mary's before and that's only 26.2, I can only imagine what can happen over a century.

I was there... was so bummed to miss seeing Sage run through Forest Hill - I missed it by just minutes..... then while waiting at the high school for the finish, I knew Sage was in trouble as the finishers came in one by one.
