Racing a Vintage RC Car!? Kyosho Scorpion Re-Release

Just a quick video I made on a practice night. This buggy has been raced a lot in the past, and I hope to continue driving it as long as I can.

wow it did pretty good, what size tires were you running on the track? 2.2?

Yes, just standard 2.2" tires. They were all TLR 22 2.0 rims. The rears are reversed to get the correct offset, and the front tires I designed a 3D printed bearing to hex adapter.

@@Pilotgeek I am haveing some problems with my buggy losing control. The strait line stability isn't that great, and tends to spin out. Do you have any tips to fix this?

@@coopersharp2921 this buggy seems to like a bit of toe in on the front. I also limited the steering to like 60% of the servos throw because the stock geometry creates some wild Ackerman towards the ends of travel. Could try thicker grease in the differential as well.
